I would definitely pick Charmander because he pwns. Fire type starters rule! Squirtle isn't as cool and Bulbasaur is just a grass type nothing special there.

Bulbasuar. It has always been that way for me for years. I used bulbasaur a lot to the point that, I didn't use much of charmander or squirtle sad to say. I only did when it came to another game called pokemon leafgreen rebirth.
