Today, Sony unveiled a new horror game, known as PT, with a demo immediately available in the PSN on PS4.

The demo ended up being the full game, and was not only infuriating to many players, but it was very cryptic, very scary, and very, very teasing.

That's because P.T. was actually a teaser game for a new game in the Silent Hill series.

This game will be developed by Konami, headed by Hideo Kojima Guillermo Del Toro. The game will star Norman Reedus as the main character, and potentially Ryan Gosling.

The game is largely speculated to be a PS4 exclusive.

What are your thoughts? Have you played PT yet? Did you urinate yourself or fall asleep?


Personally, I did the former.

I heard about this game. I cant wait for this game to come out. Love the Silent Hill games and with this game coming out with Norman Reedus in, it is going to be awesome. Cant wait to get this game.

I play this at my friends and helped him get the true ending, the silent hills trailer. Of course we didn't find it ourselves but it was fun following an online walkthrough. It's kinda insane to do and it involves small things such as looking in certain places, waiting for a sound effect and going back and forth the room. I think the most fascinating thing about this game was the fact that the ending was found by accident by a random twitch live stream.

I think that the "hills" part of Silent Hills is about each players experience being unique. Possible depending on the play style of a player the game could work out what will scare them and the right times to scare them for the most effect. At least something that clever would be cool because it only seems dreamable (or nightmareable) however P.T played a little less advanced to what I hope Silent Hills to be and P.T was made to look like an indie game, so who knows.




P.T was a good game on it's own. Silent Hills is going to want to make me want a PS4.

PT wasn't bad. 
Some of it was meant to shock, and was honestly kinda lame
but some of it was unsettling
I worry about Kojima's writing though.
I'm not saying he's a bad writer, but Silent Hill need subtlety
And subtlety is not really Kojima's strong suit.
Like...at all
Guillermo del Toro may help with he direction somewhat
But if they plan to use a bigger name like Norman Reedus in the game
then they've already given subtlety a huge blow.
It may be a great game, but I highly doubt it will be a great Silent Hill game
I think it will be yet another attempt to capture what made the original games great, while completely missing the point.
