Have you ever considered that we are all to blame
Living our lives like insignificant characters in a video game.
Whilst we all try to ignore reality and choose to live in a illusion
Conflict is caused all the time, The reason is often lost in confusion

These words will likely mean nothing to I, Them or Yourself
Because we live in a world of comforts and good health
Perhaps you should consider how lucky you are
When instead of having to walk, You simply drive a car

Perhaps you'll help someone in need, Instead of turning the other way
Perhaps you'll judge a person on their personality and not that they're gay.?
Perhaps you'll help a friend in need and set them on the right track
Perhaps you'll Ignore a person's heritage or that their skin colour is black

I didn't write this poem because i wanted to improve the whole of mankind
I simply wrote what was on the edge of my mind
I will probably try to write at least 4 verses a week.
To try to keep my mind thinking about things so bleak.?

sonicmcmuffin : Nice poetry writing ! But I'm a little confused as to what is part of the poem and what is not. At first I think you are introducing your poem, but then I realize there is a rhyme scheme to the whole post. So is the whole post the poem, or is most of the post, the poem?
