You wake up in a field, and you can see movement in the distance. The figures start moving closer, and you realise they are wielding weapons and look hostile. You quickly look around, and find weapons for you to fight back with. You recognize these weapons, as they were used in video games you have played before. Without time to assess the situation and why these weapons are here, you have to chose which to use. Unfortunately, you are only able to carry and manage one, so you have to make a decision. Which weapon do you chose to fight with? Mario's Hammer Weapon Power: Moderately High Attack Speed: Moderate Range: Low Weight: Moderately Low Info: A hammer used by Mario, the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. It is easy to swing and doesn't weigh too much, but it isn't very big, and its lightness decreases its striking power. It is a good weapon, but you do have to get in close, so it is recommended for fast users, or those who can attack while moving. It can also be used to strike the ground to create small quakes that can daze certain foes, and has seemingly infinite uses. Link's Bow and Ice Arrows Weapon Power: Low (Standard)/Moderately High (Ice) Attack Speed: High Range: High Weight: Very Low Info: An ancient bow used by the champion of Hyrule, Link, as well as some of his descendants. It isn't very powerful, and has a limited number of arrows, but lucky for you, your quiver can hold a lot of them. When you need, you can power the arrows up with the essence of ice, rendering them more powerful and able to freeze opponents, but only if you have the magic power to do so. Enemies will sometimes drop more arrows, and rarely, more magic power. It may not be powerful, but it's fast firing speed as well as range make it formidable if you know how to use it. It is best utilized by those while good aim and fighters who can take on enemies better from a distance. Samus's Annihilator Beam Weapon Power: Moderate Attack Speed: Very Fast Range: Indefinite Weight: Low Info A Luminoth weapon used by bounty hunter Samus Aran. This weapon has an extremely fast firing speed, decent damage, and a seemingly infinite range, (due to it being a beam weapon), and it has a high homing ability that allows it to seek out enemies near and far. It is very effective on large groups, but it has one fatal flaw: It has limited ammo. It used ammunition of both Light and Dark types, but this ammunition is somewhat hard to come by, and you only have 100 of each (one shot costs one of both). This weapon is best used by those who can manage ammunition, and avoid unnecessary conflict, but difficult for anyone else. Zero's Z-Knuckle Weapon Power: HighAttack Speed: ModerateRange: Very LowWeight: Very LowInfo: An arm mounted weapon used by the Legendary Reploid known as Zero. It is powerful, and can be charged to do more damage, but its attack speed isn't notable and its range is only as far as one's arms are. But, its has the ability to disarm enemies, allowing you to use their weapons against them (but, for the sake of this list, all weapons break eventually). This weapon can be very useful in some situations, but not in others, so it is a huge gamble. This is best used by those who can take risks and are physically able to fight in close combat. Simon's Cross Weapon Power: Moderate Attack Speed: Low/Moderate Range: High Weight: Low Info: A throwing weapon used by Simon Belmont of the Belmont Clan. It has a cross shape, which, when thrown, will come back like a boomerang to hit more enemies. It can be thrown easily, due to not weighing much, and it is sharp all around, allowing it to pierce enemies to deal extra damage. It has limited ammo, in the form on hearts, but enemies drop them constantly, and you have a starting stock of 15. The more it is used by the user, the more proficient they get with it, and the better you get, the faster you can throw it, allowing you to throw up to three in quick succession at maximum. This weapon is best used for those with moderate aim, and those who can fight at multiple ranges. Pit's Guardian Orbitars Weapon Power: Very Low Attack Speed: Moderate Range: Moderate: Weight: None Info A pair of shield satellites used by Pit the Angel. Due to the nature of Orbitars (they float weightlessly around ones' shoulders), the user is granted full range of movements, as well as not being slowed, allowing the user to fight on the move, and focus more on dodging and staying out of harm's way. These Orbitars may not be very powerful, but they allow the user to stay on the defensive. When their attacks are charged, it launches a shield that can block enemies and projectiles for about 5-10 seconds, and its standard shots can be fired continuously for added effect. These are best used by those who prefer to avoid conflict, and who think a good defense is the best offense. Fox's Blaster Weapon Power: Moderately Low Attack Speed: Moderate Range: Indefinite Weight: Low Info: A balanced energy weapon used on ground missions by Star Fox's lead pilot, Fox McCloud. It is light, has a seemingly infinite range, but has only a decent firing speed and not much damage. However, it is solar powered, making its uses infinite, and can be charged for greater effect. Also, it can be used at multiple ranges, as long as the user's accuracy permits it. Overall, this is the most balanced weapon on here, and is best used by well-rounded fighters. Aegislash Weapon Power: Varies (Moderate to High) Attack Speed: Low Range: Low/Moderate Weight: Extremely High Info: A cursed ghost Pokemon which has possessed both a sword and a shield. This Pokemon is used as a blade, but the user requires immense physical strength, as the weight of it is no laughing matter (for the sake of the list, the sword weights a little less than an average sledgehammer, and the shield weighs anywhere from 20-30 pounds). However, if it can be used, it contains a varied moveset ranging from Iron Head, which can make enemies flinch, to Night Slash, which can deal Critical Hits easily, to Sacred Sword, which ignores defensive boosts. This sword is best used by those with great physical strength, and some strategic knowledge. (also, it might suck the life out of you until you are a shriveled husk, so...) SMB's Dark Scythe
(Not actual representation, because I don't have the drawn design for it with me at the moment. Credit to Windstorm1 of DeviantArt) Weapon Power: Moderately High Attack Speed: Low Range High Weight: Moderate Info: An evil infused scythe and the personal weapon of yours truly. It has pretty high attack power, and it's length gives it an advantagous range, but its length and weight also make it unwieldy. It (almost) requires both hands to utilize, and it has a low attack speed, but its range almost makes up for its flaws. It also allows the user to channel dark powers, such as blinding certain enemies, or releasing a wave of energy (not unlike the Pokemon move Dark Pulse), but only after you kill enough enemies to be able to use these powers. It is best used by those who can keep their distance, and possibly psychopaths with a lust for vengeance (mwuahahaha). So... what will you take into battle?
