So after posting in a thread on a favorite Sega game, I am now wondering...what is everyone's favorite UNDERRATED Sega Genesis game? I would say mine would be Greendog, which is about a beached surfer dude, who is...cursed by some necklace he has. It's really out there, but I love it. What's yours?

Btw, can't use games that are mainstream such as Sonic the Hedgehog.

Probably Gunstar Heroes. The controls were tight, the bosses were awesome, and the style was sweet! It was everything that has come to be expected from Treasure, and has a cult following to this day.

My favorite sega genesis game was Bug's Bunny in Double Trouble. I never knew what I was doing in the game when I was younger but I loved to play it with my brothers.

My favourite "underrated" sega genesis game is batman returns, there was actually far too many different versions of that game, It's hard to find what version I have online. Actually I'm not sure if that particular version is on vizzed.

So awesome smooth style with an intriguing sense of depth.

Hmm How about El Viento. It was a pretty cool idea, had a heroine who could really kick butt, and anime style cut scenes. The difficulty though, it could be downright brutal, I never beat that last stage.

Tiny Toon Adventures, Now hear me out guys and gals I chose the game because it is a fun game especially more for children, but I was a child when it came out so it's all good. It's quite a simplistic game, but its very nicely done, the control scheme is ordinary you have a jump button, an attack button, and a special button, nothing too special, but it definitely gets the job done. The character development isn't that great really no knowing who's who unless you have prior knowledge of the universe of Tiny Toons. The graphics aren't spectacular, but back then the graphics were amazing so that one is a give or take right there. The plot is simplistic as well nothing to crazy you have to stop Montana Max, from his mischievous deeds. And the difficulty isn't insane, but it isn't easy either. But if you want my opinion, you should really try the game out especially if you have children.

Mine would be Streets of Rage 2. It was a hit but it is often overshadowed by Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Streets of Rage 2 had very good graphics, very good music and the game was a gun game. It was just special. It came out around the same time Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat did. So despite it being a hit it seemed like it was forgotten about a few years later.
