Of all of the hacks that you have played, which is your favorite? This includes hacks of all games, and hacks of all kinds.

My 2 favorite hacks are Pokemon Aquamarine and Pokemon Ultimate Ruby, but I will not count them since I made them and I am biased. Other than them, my favorite hack is Pokemon Light Platinum. My favorite non-Pokemon hack is a game called Jigsaw's Test, which is a unique hack of Super Mario World.

My favorite hack on this site is without a doubt the Pokemon Crystal hack simply called All (I think thats what its called, anyway). I haven't played it in a while, but if I remember right, I have somewhere in the area of 230+ Pokemon). Granted I can't trade with anybody, but I like the fact that you can catch just about any Pokemon on here. I think the only ones I have yet to catch are the 3 original legendary Pokemon (Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres), Mew, Mewtwo, Celebi, and a couple others I can't think of right now. I also like that fact that, in some places, the wild Pokemon are very strong. That just gives me a better excuse to train my Pokemon that aren't as strong as the ones I have had the whole game. My favorite part of this hack is I was able to catch all 3 three starters before I got to Violet City.

But in all seriousness, I thought that Super Demo World - The Legend Continues was very fun and extremely well made (although the super secret levels are bullcrap). It is very difficult, but not unplayably/"kaizo." It was made to showcase the full potential of the Super Mario World level editor, Lunar Magic, so it has to be one of the best. But if you're not a pro at Super Mario World, you might kill yourself playing it. Even if you are a pro (like me EHEHEH, BWAHAHA) it is still pretty difficult (especially the airship levels).

I don't play hacks that much at all, but all 252 Pokémon and redesigned areas are awesome, and the gym leaders are much harder.

My favorite hack is Pokémon Floral Sky, it was a nice one. My second one would have to be Pokemon Mariomon, it was interesting to use the creatures of Mario even though you can get confused on which type they can be. I often caught grass types thinking it would be another. Seeing what they can evolve into can either be amazing or just straight up unsatisfying. I got lucky and caught most of the good ones.

Pokemon Prism. I believe it's a hack of Pokemon Crystal. It runs on the same graphics as the game. It has a completely different story, and includes pokemon from gens I-IV. It's really fun, and it is on Vizzed, too. I reccomend you try it.

It's not finished yet, as it's still in its beta, but Pokemon Dark Energy is currently my favorite. Being a Pokemon Silver hack, the storyline strays far from the actual Pokemon games as well as other ROM hacks. You travel all over the region on a quest to obtain (and analyze) these mystical orbs that played a role in a crisis 1,000 years prior to the storyline. There are Pokemon gyms in this game, but they don't have badges. Instead, they give out items to help you along your quest. (This is one of the reasons why the story and gameplay is vastly different from the Pokemon games and other hacks)

It mainly has Pokemon from the 1st and 2nd generation with minor gameplay goodies such as the increased chances of finding a shiny. I remember the creator mentioning his hack resembling or being inspired by games such as Final Fantasy. But yeah, it definitely brings new ideas and an RPG/Adventure-like feel to it. I can't wait for the final beta/version to be released.
