Hello you all is there me again and today I'm here to talk about the ratings (ESBR). These ratings are to protect your family from playing disturbing and gory violent or other content games, I will list now the ratings for games.

1.E (Everyone) - safe for whole family members, all can play and will be very fun!
2.E+10 (10+ Only) for family too, but only above 10
3.T (Teenagers only) - above 13 (or other) can play, can have mild disturbing content.
4.M (Mature 17+) only for people above 17 age, can include violent scenes and very disturbing content to children.
5.AO (Adults Only) FOR PEOPLE ABOVE 18, This includes pornographic scenes and extreme violence and gore

so that was it, if you see ANY Rating that is not the age or above the age of your children then don't let them play, they will have horrible nightmares and will be disturbed.

It is nice to list the Ratings from the ESBR system. It gives information for it.

This could be helpful but maybe post this somewhere not in the newbie forum such as the video game forum. The reason is the newbie forum is not the the only place newbie's can post but it is a place where they share their introductions to the people of vizzed if they are new.

Yeah... I really don't like the system. It has always been the reason I have not been allowed to play games, even though I would obviously be able to handle the content. The AO rating also causes some games to not get published on certain platforms. This causes issues because some of the games in question would actually be "excellent", but are killed off simply because of a rating. The sexual content also gets me. Should really be rated T, at worst. 

Yeah the system is stupid, my parents one of those "I don't care" types, they know about the system perfectly, they just don't care, as long as I pay for the games, it can be about telletubbies or murdering. That's why I'm not complaining about my mom

sop281 :  I didn't know that. Is it really that bad?  O.o  Why would it stop certain games from being published on platforms?

Singelli : AO games are usually touchy and controversial, like I remember one game (I think it was manhunt), where you could hunt down and rape a 16 year old, although I may be getting it confused.

Cradily is love :  Well, I understand that the subjects are rather awful, but why should that cause the platform choice to be different from any other game?  Unless the company's just don't wish to support those games?

I know that personally I can't stand that kind of content in games, but I think that's a discussion for another place if it's needed at all. lol

Singelli : Certain platforms do not want the negative light that is received with AO games. If they were to allow the content to be published on their systems, it would likely cause them to lose some of their reputation. Most of the games I have no personal qualm with (some are obviously worse than others, take RapeLay, for instance), but a decent number of people take them as serious offenses. It is also quite likely that the anti-video game community would use the AO games as a piece to their advantage, and convince others that video games are [horrible] and should be [destroyed], which has happened multiple times. 

Cradily is love : I do not remember seeing anything about rape coming from that game. Simply brutal murder, which is seen in a lot of video games nowadays.
