This is seriously getting on my nerves. So basically, my 2 older sisters have a friend from college. I have no idea where/how she lives but I know that she So basically, there are these occasions where my sisters would bring their friend to stay in my family's house. I utterly HATE it. What's even worse is that she is stubborn to stay in my family's house. Whenever she is in the house, I feel like I live in some public shelter or something. I just don't feel comfortable. My family's house just doesn't feel like a home whenever she is in it. At night, I can't take a shower or even use the bathroom because I can risk accidentally passing by the room where my sister's friend I literally continuously annoyed and complained to my parents when I heard that she was coming to my house again, then they said that she is not going to come this time. And then.... She still ended up coming. I almost wanted to throw something at her when I saw her. My house isn't a dang hotel. Someone just kick her out please.... I don't want to look mean but I don't want someone like that in my house. Bleh. lol. Anyways, this is a thread where you can share your experiences of having unwanted guests. It's always my Mom's colleagues. One of them lives in the same condo as me, so visits are pretty frequent and UNWANTED. She can stay for hours, and it's even worse she brings her kid. MY GOD, that kid is the evilest thing ever to roam this planet. It screams so many times that my eardrums came close to breaking! I'm really starting to get sick of it all. |

My cousin does this. His friends come up in our house, eat all of food ( and we are poor as it is ), then he complains and blames it on me and my aunts when we do not have any food left with 2 weeks left until we get our Food Stamps. So yeah, I feel what you are going through. My cousin pulls the same stunts. And he hoards food in his room that is supposed to be for everybody. So yeah, I feel what you are going through. I used to have a little unwanted visitor, like maybe 5 or 6 years ago.
She's the youngest kid from my neighbor's; about 2 or 3 years old at the time. She would sometimes visit unexpectedly whenever her mom was too preoccupied with the other children and when my parents weren't home. Smart kid, that one. Anyways, I usually didn't want her in the house. However, I was too worried where she might run off to if I don't let her in. I couldn't guarantee that she would go straight home, so I would always let her in. She would drool and make a mess around the house, my room specifically. I guess she was really drawn to my collection of stuffed animals. But I really hated it when she went in my room because she would make stuff sticky and whatever babies do. I would try to coax her into going back home, but she would be stubborn and say that she doesn't wanna. The little brat. That doesn't happen anymore, of course. She's older now, and we don't see each other often because we have different lives and stuff. But I kind of do miss her company. She's really cute. I saw her on New Year's once, and she seems pretty fond of me. I guess it might be because she still has the memories of being at my house, but she'll probably forget them when she gets older. Wow, I can tell that you really don't want her at your house. I really want her to get out of there. I don't like seeing you feel that way. If I was in that situation, I'd be very desperate to get out of my house and after I while, I'd lose some control of myself and probably get in trouble because at my house, there are things that people stupidly get in trouble for and things that people stupidly don't get in trouble for. I've never had an unwanted guest in my house for a long time or many times but I have had an unwanted guest in my house for part of a day. That was more than enough for me. The guest was (and, of course, still is) one of my sister's friends. I think I know why she's my sister's friend. She loves to annoy people and, she crazy! My sister is annoying and crazy enough, especially when she's really happy. When she's really happy, she always says whatever she is thinking and when people tell her to stop, she keeps going, like nothing happened. Only my parents can stop her, unless I scream at the top of my lungs. I've had to do that a few times. Her friend is much worse. She doesn't just like to annoy people; she likes to scare and prank them too. A few times she sneaked up on me and attempted to scare me. One time, she failed because I turned around. The other times, she succeeded My sister's friend got more annoying throughout the day. She pranked me several times. The first time, she knocked on my door and then ran away. I shouted into the hallway, "I know it was you!" because she was the only one up there. A few times after that, she knocked on my door and said, "Your dad wants you!" I went downstairs to the kitchen, where my dad was cooking, and my sister's friend cracked up laughing. That was the last straw. I ran up to my room, locked my door, and gave her the silent treatment. Sometime after that, I heard a knock on my door. I ignored it. My mom said, "Open the door!" and I was relieved. Well, that lasted a few seconds. I opened my door and I saw her and my sister's friend standing there. I was enraged. My mom told me what she wanted to tell me, and then I shut the door and locked it again. I didn't unlock it until I was positive my sister's friend was gone. I hope she never comes back unless she changes a lot. She also annoys everyone in the house when she isn't here. She calls until someone answers her. One time she called like 4 times in a row. I answered because I was sick of the phone ringing literally every minute. I thought, "This had better be important." She just wanted to talk to my sister, who was at an art camp all day. A few hours later, when my sister was pretty close to being done with her art camp for the day, her friend called again. Ugh. I hate that. It's horrible.
When I do, I hide in my brothers room. I feel so uncomfortable with them in my house. My mom brought in a complete stranger and then he came to the house asking me to hack Earthbound and Final Fantasy III, even though I don't know how. I don't like guests at all. they intrude randomly and should really just get the heck out of town When I do, I hide in my brothers room. I feel so uncomfortable with them in my house. My parents were hermits and I have grown the same way. I guess this is what makes it hard for me to understand the problem. For example, why are you afraid to walk by the room that she might be Don't people normally have their friends over? (I wouldn't know, since I don't have any.) Singelli : To answer your questions: I'm afraid to walk by her room because she may not be wearing appropriate clothing and my parents will destroy me. Even if it's not my fault. She stayed for about 4 days straight and then she came again to stay for another 2 days. And as for the friends part, my sisters HATE inviting her to their house as much as I do. And there is a reason for it. As I said in my post, she sometimes lacks basic manners and what not. Thus, I'm definitely not unfair in my judgement at all. Only people who had guests like that in their house for more than at least one day would understand the pain. mohammedroxx3 : If your sisters don't like inviting her, then why do they? Nobody is forcing them to. Maybe you can set some rules in place whenever she visits, or she loses her invitations? I don't know... It sounds like maybe you and your family should sit down and talk about this though, if it's such a hindrance to all of you. Singelli : I literally ask my sisters the same question. They never give an actual response to it. But this is already taken care of because she finally left and she seems like she isn't coming back. I don't really have any situations like yours, but I have this friend that doesn't really call me before showing up at my house to basically just hang out. If anything, he just shows up and allows himself in, which gets a tad annoying. But this only happens very rarely, so I don't really tell him about it. |
