I usually get it flaked or shredded or powdered. Or by the block. Lol, I get it all sorts of ways. It depends what I need it for. I prefer the shredded or flaked, my brother prefers powdered, and we both like it by the block. But most of the time we get it either flaked or powdered.

I get it by block. Never seen powdered versions and grated versions. The only grated cheese I have seen is cheddar. The rest is sold by blocks. Parmesan cheese is amazing but I don't have a favorite cheese.

The parmesan cheese I get is actually grated. I buy it at the store, and I only use it on top of spaghetti. I don't really even like parmesan cheese, but it does go very well with spaghetti. Otherwise, I could really care less about it.

I always have brought mine grated. I'm just so use to buying it and adding it to my pasta and sausage with tomato roasted garlic sauce and bits of cilantro, dish. I add it to many foods for that good o taste of cheese but not too much !

Also, I think you can put it into soup to give it a cheesy flavor, but I never do. My favorite thing to do with the powdered Parmesan cheese is put it on some bread with butter, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning. The weirdest thing I've ever done with it was after we had eaten pizza, we had some of my easy to make, but yet still good peanut butter cookies, and one of them got covered in Parmesan cheese. I figured I'd try it, and it was so good that I did it to my other cookies too.
