hmm That is a tough question. I will go with Phoenix Wright. Why not even though he was in Marvel vs Capcom and we have Megaman in the game. Though I agree totally with supernerd 117 that would be awesome to me seeing Reggie there. Wonder what his Final Smash would be. His own stage would be a Nintendo press conference or Nintendo Direct though that would probably suit Iwata.

It is most likely going to be Shulk from xenoblade because the people who make the games retweeted that tweet specifically and he is expected to be in the game. Also, The VA for shulk was accidentally listed on a site for doing Voice work in the upcoming smash bros. game

I saw the new fighter thing being said to be available next Monday obviously. I need to say this for nostaliga purposes:

Mewtwo because of the potentional of Mewtwo's reveal although it would be ruined because people would recognize the Greninja reveal. It could happen, but instead of charging an attack, I have a perfect idea of how the reveal would go: A group of characters would be grouped, and waiting for someone new to join in. Then, in the group, Greninja who is in the group gets lifted into the air by seemingly nothing and then getting thrown into the sky. Everyone else would get shocked, and look around to see why it happened. Mewtwo would be secretly hiding and using Teleport and go everywhere confusing the people. The characters would be seeing something teleporting, and then laughs like his Melee taunt. Then, he would teleport right to the people, and then he shows himself.

Just a theory of who it could be. But if he dd, he would have a extremely unique moveset from Lucario or a mostly non-clone of Lucario. Just compare what Mewtwo and Lucario do for aerial attacks. Mewtwo never uses his feet, but instead his tail. Lucario uses only his feet and mostly his hands, never using his short tail. Well, that could be wrong to have a originally cloned Lucario-like moverset character coming back, but if Mewtwo were to have a mostly non-cloned Lucario moveset, it would be perfect to see him coming back. Plus, I hope he, Ness, and Yoshi can DJC again, although the problem is, it would be highly doubted to see DJC again. It made Yoshi, Ness, Mewtwo not be ranked near Kirby, although Ness ranks like 23rd in Melee, Yoshi is like 19th, and then Mewtwo being around 20-21 in rank according to the current Melee tier list.

Now I've said again and again why Issac from golden sun should be in smash, but there's a bit more of a dilemma going on that neither Ness nor Lucas has been confirmed. Maybe the newcomer will be a similar character from mother? We could be seeing Paula, Kumatora, Jeff, even POO! Sorry, can never get over that name... well no matter what, someone from mother needs to show up. I mean it doesn't have to be a mother character anyways, it could have the same playstyle but be from another series. Either way I'd rather have a unique character than a clone of another character :l

Finally, Captain Falcon is coming!? OMGOMGOMGOMG *spaz out time* Yeszyeszfarukonpanchi oh god "YESZ" finally! Now, all we need is Ness and Jigglypuff. Jigglypuff better be a first unlock able like in 64 and Melee. She really got betrayed in Brawl being 3rd last unlock character. Ironically, she's 3rd last on the tier list for Brawl. One more reason why I hated Brawl, including Meta knight ruining her reputation as a god tier in Melee, and then the physical game changes. First thing I want too see of her is her rest attack.

A little off-topic, I apologize. But it seems that between the 3ds and Wii U, there's no practice room before the match begins on the Wii U. They need to really give the Wii U all the other stuff besides the 3ds exclusives.

Wow... this thread is like really, really outdated now. All three characters are fun, Robin is pretty interesting and the girl is hot.
