Rockstar made quite a splash when they announced that GTA V would be ported to PC, giving the folks of Reddit's PC Master Race something to gloat about.  But this sort of case is often the exception to the rule.  Often, PC addicts weep because they have no "Halo 3", no "The Last of Us", and certainly no "Super Mario Galaxy", except through emulation, a currently poor substitute for the real deal.

Nintendo has been famously stingy about releasing their content for non-Nintendo devices.  But imagine for a moment a PC port of Super Smash Bros. Brawl with online netplay, new features, and Steam Workshop compatibility.  Imagine a realm where people could create their own levels, characters, and challenges and share them through Steam!  The possibilities would be marvelous to behold.  I want this game, more so than any other game, to be ported to Steam.

What game would you like to see in Steam?  Please back it up with a reason.

I'm on the same boat as you on that one. Who wouldn't want a Smash Bros for steam, especially online multiplayer or whatever is available. If only Smash 4 was like that. Oh well.

Another game would be maybe something like osu!, I've always wanted this as a physical game, but if it got a steam deal, it would be just as cool. Or some type of rhythm game based of all songs available.

The game that I wanted to be in steam for so long and got 2 chances to be greenlighted but steam didn't greenlight it (it's top #36 in there, what the hell steam?), that game would be NetHack.

Why did I chose NetHack? It is because it's one of the most challenging games I've ever seen (I still haven't beat it!), and has the most depth that almost a few RPG game can reach up to it, add to the fact that it has a good sense of humor. Plus, the steam version is ganna get a graphic update which I'm looking forward to it.

I'd love to see versions of Megaman Battle Network games on Steam as well. Imagine competing against other users across the globe with the battlechips you've earned. Imagine being able to trade and sell battlechips on the Steam Marketplace, much like BattleBlock Theater has done. Imagine being able to seamlessly use battlechips across different versions and games. The end result could very well be awesomeness.

MLB the Show.

The only decent PC baseball game there is, is OOTP. And OOTP is just a management simulator.

A baseball game on PC (of value) would eliminate my need for a console entirely.
