I've heard people say that they prefer to watch one episode at a time, so that they can digest what happened in the current weeks episode. But, there are other who don't want to wait.

Personally, I've noticed that when I watch 10 or 20 episodes of a show in a week , I miss some things and feel lost when I've completed a season.
Which one is better?

I do a mix, i sometimes go ahead wand watch 6 to 8 episodes in a day but that's usually of old shows where I just want to watch it because I love it and have seen some already. Most of the time, I'll just take it steady. It is easy to miss some stuff if you watch all that.

I always watch my shows week by week. I've joked about waiting until a season was over and then watching the episodes all at once since the week long wait between episodes can be brutal with a really incredible show. There's no way I could possibly wait months for the show to end without watching any of it though.

Part of the fun of being in a fandom is discussing what happened with other fans then getting excited for the next episode. I definitely prefer watching my favourite shows one episode at a time.

I can watch several episodes in a row if it's a show I like I only really watch it week by week if it runs out of episodes to watch and I have to wait for a new one.

I like to only watch one episode at a time. Binge watching a tv show just makes it harder to know what's happening. I watch all of the shows I like week to week except for Sherlock which i binge watched the first season of (6 hours) in one night. Binge watching it wasn't easy and kind of got annoying so I didn't do it again, and is enjoy not staying up too late or having to take too much time to just watch a tv show. When I have to take forever and get all tired watching a tv show, I can't take it all in because I, tired so I don't get what is really happening.

I probably use a mixture of tactics.  I didn't grow up with a lot of television, but my husband did.  He has binged his way from show to show from the time we got married until now... 6 years later. I've NEVER understood it. In fact, I was always a little shocked that he just kept watching and kept watching and kept watching until he saw all 5/15/25/etc seasons of some show.  I didn't know how anyone could do that.

However, more and more often, I seem to be doing that.  I don't binge quite like my husband, but when I started watching The Following, I learned the joy of going through a show like that.  Once I caught up on The Following, I totally binged Dr. Who.    In fact, I think I could probably binge watch them all again! haha!

I've never been a big television person however, so I can't imagine I could binge for every long.  While binging was a lot of fun, I think I like watching the shows week by week. Not only does it spread the entertainment out, but it also gives me something to look forward to every week. And when I've had a rough week.....?  Something to look forward to is very welcomed. XD

I almost never watch actual TV anymore, except if I'm watching NFL Network or some kind of sporting event, whether it be a football game, baseball game, etc. I watch Netflix, Hulu Plus, and even YouTube on my PS3. With that said, I almost have no choice but to binge watch my shows. I'm one of those people who can't wait. If the next episode is available to me, more than likely I'm going to watch it right away. I watch shows on Xfinity on Demand too. That is where I watch my shows like The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, 24, shows like that. I can't imagine watching a show and waiting a whole week to watch the next episode. I don't know why I'm like that. :/

Yeah, I seem to binge when it comes to episode watching. If I'm watching it on a marathon, I continue to watch it until I have to do something or when it ends. Or go on the internet and watch a season of something.
