Ever since the NES came out in the 80s, I seem to buy the wrong game console system. I buy a system, make do with what I have, and then complain that I don't have the other games. I am starting to think I am just like most people out there who buy one, then buy another, then upgrade another...

Yes sometimes I feel that I purchased the wrong console, when a game that comes out that I like and its not available on my console, it gets me soo mad.

Nope, doesnt really sound like something I've done, I always get the best system with the games I want from each gen, excluding current gen which I have bought none

It's the nature of people to want what they don't have, in your case the game system you dont have
With the current gen it looks easier though, most games that are on 360 are on PC so that means you really only need a PC, a PS3 and thats about it (Wii has no games, just gimmicks )
