I tend to leave my handheld systems on while I'm not playing them, and that will usually add at least 20 hours to my play time. ( e.g. I'll start playing [say Pokémon], after half an hour of playing it I'll set my game down on the table, go do something else, then comeback to my game to play it for a little bit more, and turn off the system.)

Other than my idle time, I like to also binge play through games while thoroughly completing as much of the game as possible.

bad???
I evaluate the Inventory Systems on practicality and effectiveness. (I Work In A Warehouse.)

Stuff I do that is not important?
I pan the camera around to get a good view of the player character when reloading.

I really can't call any of that bad habits. It's all a simulation.
Not real.

Fun chat.
Thank You.

Good Luck To All.
Peace.

I don't know why, but I have developed an obsession over cutting grass in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword .

*Evil laugh*. I will do anything, including harming nature, in order to get Rupees! Muhahahaha! xD

Seriously, though, in literally every Pokemon game I have, I stop training RIGHT after I defeat the Champion out of sheer laziness and leave the hard work of leveling them up to level 100 to my sister, who, thankfully, loves it .

I tend to get overly involved... I begin to try to kill everyone! I can't leave one guy alone... Maybe that is why I have a hard time in Stealth based games...  And, like thing1, I lean when I turn in games... When driving a tank in Star Wars Battlefront II and need to turn fast, I lean, normal racing in Need for Speed Underground 2 or NFS: Hot Pursuit, same thing...

I just have to cut down every single blade of grass and smash every pot in a Zelda game. Twilight Princess was the worst because the grass was EVERYWHERE on Hyrule Field....  Also, in Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, I take a picture of literally every scene change because that game has the most beautiful atmosphere, and I wanted some of those screenshots as desktop backgrounds (most of them get deleted).

Ahaha, I have a couple things....
1. I play video games too much If that counts.
2. I talk way too much in online multiplayer games.
3. I tend to go on the wiki's a lot to see how to do things without trying to do it by myself, sometimes.

With pretty much every game I always end up going way too fast and getting myself killed because of it. And then if you add a timer like in Majora's Mask or Pikmin, I get way slower for some reason and get way too cautious to get anything done.
Then there's games where you can save at any time (aka Pokemon), where I will literally save every 5 seconds just in case I get a sudden power outage or something.

I'm just too, "IN YOUR FACE!" So, in games like Borderlands 2, I die often... But, I also tend to be a bad driver in FPS games, which leads to the bad habit, or only walking everywhere... I also tend to forget that cover is helpful...

Eirinn : I do tend to "over level" too but in most RPGs it's a necessity. It's also quite useful in VIzzed when making videos; it makes the filming much easier - I know it was for Shining Force I and II.

MrPokemonLover2: Ah yes, saving. Even veterans like me forget it from time to time. Just yesterday I was making a Breath of Fire I video and I used the save state to go back slightly... It went back to when I frst started recording! Such frustration.

janus : Oh definitely. In fact when done properly, I think it makes the game more fun. But one good example would be the last time I tried to play Pokèmon (last time as in, the last time I ever plan on playing it): in this game I caught one of every single Pokèmon that I found. Then I would grind until each of my Pokèmon were ten to twenty levels higher than any Pokèmon in the area I was currently in. This was incredibly tedious, especially when I entered a new area and had to level forty different Pokèmon up by five or six levels (200 - 240 levels collectively), and newly caught Pokèmon had to be raised by ten to twenty levels each before I could leave any grassy patch.

That ruined the experience. Well that and a few other things; but that was what really killed it for me. In a fighting game being OP can be a blast, but walking around in circles for several hours waiting on random battles to pop up and literally taking hundreds of them in each new area to get to the level you want... it's too much. Or it is for me at least.

My bad habit with video games is also really embarrassing. I jump when I'm excited, which is when I'm fighting a tough enemy such as a boss. I can't stop myself even to calm down, so my heart just beats extremely fast and it hurts sometimes lol. Other than that, I tend to skip as many boring parts of a game as possible.

Over leveling my characters until things are too easy. I have a seriously bad habit of grinding too much because I like grinding, so I generally wind up too strong for wherever I'm at. Occasionally it doesn't happen, but more often than not I am That One Guy who is too powerful and doesn't realize it until too late. It can make some things a pain. *like catching pokemon in certain areas*  But other times...YAY EASY BOSS BATTLES I DON'T HAVE TO RELOAD 500 TIMES!

I guess you could say that I like to yell a lot when I'm playing video games. Not necessarily in a bad sense though and its not like I'm screaming at the top of my lungs either ( unlike some people I have seen on youtube who rage ridiculously ). It's more like I am talking at a higher volume than normal, at least that is how I see it XD Sometimes I do get a little frustrated when playing video games and whenever that happens I usually put down the controller or just play a less aggravating game ( like Limbo ). I hate to admit that there have been times where I take things too far but then I stop and think to myself "Whoa, what the hell am I doing?" lol

I'm one of those people that you call a trophy hunter. When I get a game, I try to get every single trophy for that game. And my bad habit is that some of the more challenging games that can be a pain in the butt to complete 100%...sometimes I give up too easily on them. As of right now, I've given up on the PS3 games that I have ( that I haven't already completed 100% ), but that's only because I'm still waiting to get a PS4.

Also, read the above post as I have the same exact problem that he does. He's actually my brother, and we used to scream at games all the time. Sometimes I scream at games too, but I usually immediately catch myself and tell myself to "shut the hell up" XD

MattyIce :  LMFAO!!  ROTFL!!

Dude, you're such a liar. You used to throw stuff around the house ( usually a ball or something similar ) and bounce it off the walls, lol. If you could not find something to throw, then you would bang your fists on the table or start clapping your hands very loudly. I swear, my hands would start to hurt because you would be clapping so hard and for long periods at a time.

So, I would have to say that you would make more noise with arms and hands rather than your voice XD

I've got three. I'll often leave my 3DS on while it's on the charger and not actually play it, tacking on several hours to my game. My Alpha Sapphire save has 33 hours on it and I haven't even got to the third gym yet cause I keep leaving it on and doing other things.

My second one is in any game that lets you pick things up. Elder Scrolls and Fallout especially. In those games I become a pack-rat and take anything and everything not nailed down, and end up with an inventory full of useless junk nobody wants to buy, but that doesn't matter cause it's all going in a big pile in my house. I also spend numerous hours decorating my house instead of playing the game. I put in a good 120 hours decorating the house in Cheydinhall on Oblivion. Skyrim makes it impossible since it just throws everything around all the time.

I have a terrible habit of over grinding in Role Playing Games. For some reason, I can not stop getting 10 levels above the required boss or area level.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
