Hello all! I just signed up after stumbling on this site, and I'm actually excited to be back on a forum. I haven't done this for a few years, so forgive me if I'm a bit rusty XD

I started gaming on my Dad's old black & white Mac in the early '90s - funnily enough, I found this site by searching for Word Muncher, which is the one game I remember playing on that old fossil. I played NES, SNES, and N64 games my friends owned until I finally owned a PlayStation and a GameBoy Color. After that I moved up to a GameCube, and console gaming took off from there. I married a gamer guy a little over a year ago, and even though we both work full-time (plus his Army/National Guard schedule), we still find time to indulge in some of the games that brought us together. Right now we have a Wii, 3DS, and Xbox 360, and will be purchasing a PS4 sometime in July (It's my birthday gift to me! Ahhhh... so happy). I'm currently reliving my glory days of Pokémon thanks to this site's amazing game library.

Oni_Onigiri : Welcome on Vizzed! First of all, that's a funny username, I remember the word onigiri from a video game, aren't they chopsticks?
Also, don't worry if you have to start up slowly, you'll soon get into the groove
Great to hear that you're such an interesting gamer! That's useful if you want to discuss with other people about other games on this site. I only have a good ol' Nintendo DSI and a Nintendo 2DS but they're still very great handhelds.

Welcome, Oni_Onigiri! Hope you enjoy your stay here! Unfortunately, I haven't been active in the past year or so, but I'd like to get back into the Vizzed scene. I'd be happy to recommend some games to you, and the game Pokemon Light Platinum is really fun. I've played it, and I recommend it for everyone.

Welcome to Vizzed! I currently still own a gameboy color myself (do you still have yours???), and its the magnificent clear-purple color. Unfortunately I did not have the privilege of playing an older game device, but I have great memories of my unbeatable pokemon team from it (I played the blue, gold, and silver versions)! It's good to hear that your a gamer and hopefully you have fun with the forums and game room!

   A quick search on Google informed me that Onigiri means "O-nigiri, also known as o-musubi, nigirimeshi or rice ball, is a Japanese food made from white rice formed into triangular or oval shapes and often wrapped in nori"...so basically a form of rice ball combined with salmon or salty foods. Sooo uhh, ya. Pointless fact of the day award goes toooo <-------------------------Slythion!

Thanks for the warm welcome, all! To answer a couple questions...One: Onigiri is riceball, so Oni Onigiri is basically "demon/evil riceball". Chalk it up to too much anime and too much alcohol.Two: YES, I still have my trusty GameBoy Color! It's sitting in my tech "museum" in all its lime green glory, next to my first camera and my bright red Walkman. I love my 3DS, though.
