Now I love Pokemon myself big fan but I was wondering if some one could give a answer to some things I find strange about Pokemon:

-Shedinja: Its Pokedex entry states "A discarded bug shell that came to life. Peering into the crack on its back is said to steal one's spirit."
So 1 when you throw it out wont you drop dead or two could you just close your eyes turn it around and then its time to loot the other trainer X3

-Our character: The characterwe play is like 10 or 11 so I was just wondering what sain person lets their children run around in a world with ((Killer)) monsters ((Read some of the Pokemon's Pokedex entry and they seem more disturbing then on the cartoon)) and with a terrorist group running around.

-People eat Pokemon: Slowpoke tail,Magakarp, and Tentacool oh my! In the cartoon and game they mentioned eating Pokemon a few times so is this the fate of that egg we never hatch or that pokemon we get from a trade or catch yet never use.

But I am a big fan just always wondered about these things.

Unvized : True, the are many strange things about Pokémon. Take these ones for example, the Sinnoh folk stories from the Canalave Library:

"Sinnoh Folk Story 1"
Pick clean the bones of Pokémon caught in the sea or stream.Thank them for the meals they provide, and pick their bones clean. When the bones are as clean as can be, set them free in the water from which they came. The Pokémon will return, fully fleshed, and it begins anew.

"Sinnoh Folk Story 2"
There lived a Pokémon in a forest. In the forest, the Pokémon shed its hide to sleep as a human. Awakened, the human dons the Pokémon hide to roam villages.

"Sinnoh Folk Story 3"
There once were Pokémon that became very close to humans. There once were humans and Pokémon that ate together at the same table. It was a time when there existed no differences to distinguish the two.

Oh that's not even getting started compared to some of what has been said in the Japanese games. The Sinnoh Folk Story 3 he gave was actually from the international release of Pokemon. The original Japanese version didn't state that Pokemon and humans ate at the same table. In the Japanese version, they used to marry. So, that gives a lot of strange reasoning behind Pokemon like Jynx/Lucario/Kadabra... Anything in the human-like egg group.. And take into account that humans and Pokemon used to marry. I'd say there are some questions you don't want answered.

Some of the descriptions can be rather creepy and/or weird to read. I heard that the English stuff doesn't compare to the stuff that Japan has. After seeing some of the descriptions from the Pokedex though, I am gonna hide at home forever. Same goes with the story of the Lavander Pokemon Tower.
