Hi, I have never had the opportunity to play any of the newer (anything made for play station or after)  final fantasy games, but I think its time for me to give Final Fantasy a try. I was recommended to play 7 or 10, but I'm trying to find a good emulator. does anybody know where i can play those games?

I would recommend checking out any (trustworthy) ROM/emulator site you want. You should be able to find a nice emulator and a decent amount of Final Fantasy roms. For PlayStation, I recommend using the ePSXe emulator, and for PS2, use PCSX2. Please NEVER USE TORRENTS FOR GAMES! Almost EVERY game torrent is not what it seems to be. I'm not a big Final Fantasy fan, but I've heard many great things about the games, so have fun!

Also, if you need ANY help setting things up, feel free to contact me.

Well, if you save up 50,000 Viz you can buy the playstation item which emulates playstation games. they have final fantasy 7 on there.

As far as final fantasy 10 goes, I really dont know of a site that has a PS2 emulator so... yeah. best bet is to buy a copy online. dunno how much it would cost though.
Getting the 50,000 Viz is easy if you contribute a lot to the site. 'cept plagiarizing reviews.. that wont really get you any Viz and coult result in ban blah blah ima assume you read the rules whatever.
from my experience the playstation emulator is rather slow, but thats on a very low quality laptop with little processing power. so it might work better on other computers

ePSXe is probably the best emulator. It plays all PSX games better than any other PSX emulator. Like Yoshi said, you can also purchase the Playstation item here for 50,000 Viz.

And get-your-rom is corrupted.

Bakiro : I just want to point out that you need a pretty fast computer to be able to run a PS2 game lag free. The specs are game dependent so a large game like FF10 is probably going to bog down your PC unless you have the best of the best gaming PC.

Most of these titles are available for a reasonable price on Steam. I would suggest purchasing them on there. That way you can still play them on your PC. Many of these have updated visuals as well. If you put them on to your wish list, you will be notified when the games go on sale (which they often do)Not only that, you are continuing to support a franchise you are a fan of.

You could also go the route of purchasing a used PS2. (Which are pretty cheap these days) and purchasing a used copies of the game.

As far as PSone is concerned some people with older computers have issues playing certain games emulated on it, but those games are available if you purchase the PSone item in the item shop.

download ALL of your psx/ps2 roms from a trustworthy site. google it. in fact, you should be able to find pretty much any rom you want there, and they will (in my experience) always work.

for ps1 use ePSXe. for ps2 roms, use PCSX2. you can run 98% of ps2 games on any computer using a phenom2 X4 or better. its pretty much entirely CPU dependant, but a dedicated graphics card will help a small bit. any dedicated card from recent years will do. youll be able to play ff10 with no issues, at higher speed, and higher quality graphics, with the vague specs i mentioned.

on a side note, if you have a REAL PS2, get a network adapter for it. you can then download whatever iso's you want to a hard drive, swap said hard drive into the ps2, and play said iso's off said hard drive. same with PSX games. so basically, if you have an old CRT tv, get yourself a PS2 and network adapter. if you dont, use emulators because every PS2/PSX game looks absolutely terrible when upscaled to 1080/720 from the native psx/ps2 resolution. that includes the like 4 games that have 1080 support, and the few with 720. so no CRT, use an emulator.
