I am almost positive that ever since I have been going to this school district (K-11th grade), we have always gotten out early June. I think the earliest we were ever able to leave was on the 1st, and the latest was on the 12th, or something around there. Seeing as we do not get too many snow days, we are always able to get it done before the 12th. The sad thing is that my school has 185 days, 5 more than the compulsory level, and the extra 5 is totally unnecessary. However, instead of taking off those extra five days, they end up taking away our vacations... usually we never even have a spring break. Oh well. I get out for summer vacation this year on the 6th, so I will be extremely excited. Two more days of hell, 3 days of relief school, and then a few months of total relaxation (more or less).

 It was nice to get out so early despite all of those snow days we had.

When I was back in school, and I believe it's the same considering I only been out for 2 years. They always released June 4th. However, if there was loads of snow, we would get like 5 snow days or something. But if we had more than 5 days off from snow, than it would start making the month longer. So we usually got out between June 10th - 14th. But It was always in June.

For me, I get out in either the first or second week of June depending on the number of snow days throughout the year. They have actually made summer a week or so longer for me because we used to go back to school in the last week of august, but now we go back in the first week of September which actually gives us a little extra time to enjoy our vacation.

I am hoping that I don't get as many snow days next year, as good as they are, they can really screw up the class schedule, as well as the time we finally get out of school, they actually had to extend school 20 minutes at the end of the day, but I guess out of all of the alternatives, that was the best choice.
