Usually I share my candy with someone else since I can't eat a lot of it in one sitting, and by the time I go to eat more of it, it's already gone bad.

When I was younger, I'm sure I had trouble resisting candy.  It wasn't something my mother bought often, so when people gave it out, I felt as though it was a luxury and rarity. However, now that I'm older, I don't exactly have the same mentality. Candy is good, but I don't usually CRAVE it.  I will say if it's given out freely, I'll grab as much as I can without being deemed as rude or greedy. However, I usually stash it away somewhere and just slowly work my way through it... a piece or two per day.

I am not crazy when it comes to candy, except some chocolate. However, while I do end up eating lots of chocolate, I have enough control to stop eating and save some for another. I did used to have no control over that, but I never got sick from it. I just manage to finish it all and still be perfectly fine. The same can go for rice.
