Synopsis:Tales of Xillia 2 is set a year after Tales of Xillia, and revolves around Ludger Kresnik, a run-of-the-mill man who lives with his brother and cat, and Elle Marta, a young and dependable girl who Ludger meets by chance. Throughout the game the player will have to make decisions for Ludger that will cause the story to branch out in a new direction.
Tales of Xillia 2 features the return of the linking system from the original Tales of Xillia, in which players can link to any active party member in battle to team up and destroy enemies with support attacks and powerful linked artes attacks. The game also features a new Weapon Swap mechanic while in battle, meaning that players can switch between three main weapons; a sledgehammer, dual pistols and dual blades in real-time during combat.

Exclusively for PlayStation 3. The game came out in Japan on 1 November 2012, and will be released in North America and Europe on 19 August 2014, and 22 August 2014, respectively.

I am actually really excited for this game. I loved the first one (there is a reason it is being used as my layout), and I have been wanting the second game for a while now. Heck, I even won a poster of Tales of Xillia 2, I am pretty much obligated to buy the game now. Anyone else excited? Thoughts?

I haven't played Xillia yet, but I am most likely gonna pre-order Xillia 2 Limited Edition or Collector's Edition (if it has some cool stuff with it.)

vanelan : Nice! I got the collector's edition for the first game, and I must say, there was some pretty awesome stuff with it. I cannot imagine them doing anything worse than the first one. The collector's edition for Symphonia Chronicles was also pretty cool, even though I did not get it (won a signed copy of the regular game though ). All signs point to a nice CE.
