A Hoenn remake has been confirmed by Nintendo! It will come out in November for the 3DS. The names of the games are Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I need to get a 3DS (or maybe a 2DS) just so I can play it!

YES FINALLY! I'm so excited for these games coming out. I'm so going to buy both of them when they come out. Hopefully this would be a big hit for Nintendo.

You have plenty of time to save up money for it, and if you just wait another month to play, maybe you can get it for christmas.

But in my opinion it sounds like Gamefreak and the Pokemon Company are running out of idea's ^-^ just saying these games will be about the 3rd set of remakes they've made(Pokemon Firered, Pokemon leafgreen, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Green/Blue(for us in America),Pokemon Heart Gold, Pokemon Soul Silver, Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Silver...see what I'm getting at and also they had Black & White 2 which is basically Black and White just with 3 extra towns and mixed up gyms with an extra tournament). Although it is nice to see Gamefreak updateding and remaking the classics that were my childhood, and I think these games are going to be a success(don't get me wrong) but it seems that this proves they have basically been running out of ideas for Pokemon, the sprites and the game in general because all they have been doing is recycling old Pokemon & Games. But anyways I wish they would have remade emerald instead of both Ruby and Sapphire and also I think I might just go out and buy a 3DS instead of waiting for the 3DS emulator to come out. 

I'm going to get Alpha Sapphire. I had both Ruby and Sapphire but played Ruby the most back than. Going to get it the day it comes out, it's cheap to buy.

Unless it is actually a true "remake", and we get a different story, and mega Pokemon become involved. If it is just, essentially, an HD version of the game, then there is no point for anyone who got it before to buy the same game again. 

Of course, if they are true remakes, please let me know.
