Hello there,

Welcome to the thread with a bit misleading title.   Animal Crossing is one of those games that everyone played as a kid, and most still play now! Animal Crossing is a game made of lovable Animals who all live in a village that you buy a house in, and live amongst  the Animals. In the most recent game, it allows you to become mayor of the town, and create ordinances and start building projects.  With so many lovable creatures in this game, there is no way you could possibly befriend them all! 

But, to the point. Animal Crossing is quite possibly the least debated game. Everyone agrees, it's a good game. Some may say the they don't play it now, but they still loved it as a kid. I've never heard one comment about the games bashing it, or saying anything bad about it.

It seems one thing: Everyone likes Animal Crossing. Which is something that can't be said about any other game!

So, tell me. Do you agree with this? While it may not be everyone's personal favorite game, everyone can agree that it's good! So, because that can't be said about any other games, does that mean AC just might be the greatest game? I love Animal Crossing, but it isn't my favorite Nintendo Franchise(Pokemon has that position), thought It is up on the list.

I do agree that the game series is a good one, but it tends to lose its luster after a while, and I end up becoming very bored of the limited scope of the games. There simply is not enough to do. While you can do certain things in the games, such as endlessly searching for those other fossils, fish, and, bugs for the museum, for the majority of the game, they tend to become repetitive. Now, I am not saying that it is the only game capable of repetition, as that is an element present in ALL games, but the limited options for things to do weakens the games. So, I would disagree when it comes to the game series being perfect. The games have their flaws, and I feel as if the flaws are significant enough to not give them the perfect rating.

I don't agree that it is the perfect game... I don't think the perfect videogame has been made yet. It is for sure one of the best series available for Nintendo consoles, in terms of how many people enjoy it. Animal Crossing combines a lot of elements that are very addicting and time-consuming. I've wasted weeks of my life making my town perfect... no regrets.

I had a chance to play that game with my friend's GameCube, and it's a lot of fun. Is it the perfect game? That's entirely a matter of opinion. I do however believe it's a very well made game from the few hours I've played it, and once I come into possession of a GameCube, I would love to own it.
