Well, because I like to make Minecraft skins for myself and other people, I am starting a little thread for making skins.To request one, just make comment below, which needs to include info on how you want me to make it. You can request a character, a thing, or any other item I could turn into a skin. Please keep in mind, you must be specific for how you want in terms of detail, because I might do something completely different than what you intended me to do.

For me to send you your skin, I will PM you once I am done, of which you will need to provide an e-mail or some other way I could send you the skin. I will not use Mediafire or any other sharing website.

Please be warned, I am much better with flat colors, and multiple colors for one article of clothing or part of a body just look ugly to me. Don't expect to see something like this:

Instead, my skins will look a bit more simple, but I will still try to make them as detailed as possible. Like this:

By the way, I do not intend to charge for these skins, but I will still take my time and make the best skins I can make so people will enjoy them.

It might be a little helpful to show a few examples of what to expect, versus what not to expect. Do you have any examples of your work?

That said, I'm glad that someone is willing to provide this service. I recommend that you devote more time into each of the skins but charge a small Viz fee to do it.

You can preview how your skins will look in a program called Techne and then screenshot them, edit out what you don't want in GIMP or Photoshop, and then upload them to wherever. What the program is a modeler made for Minecraft so code novices don't have to mess around with Java when trying to add a mob entity to Minecraft, but it also has a preview skin option so it's also useful for skinners to make sure their skins look desirable before using them in-game. Once you load up the program you can just select the biped model in the Turbo-Model-Thingy (actually what the dev called it) and preview the skin by clicking on edit and then selecting load texture. Hope this helps.

Literaly, I only applied pixels to the head and hat area of the char.png image file. At first I thought it was neat looking being a floating head with wings but now I kind of want a body for my minecraft person. Could you make the body similar to that of an Organization XII cloak from Kingdom Hearts for a male? My current skin file should appear below, oh and don't worry about removing the wings on the head or shading, nothing like that. I'm fine at shading, what you said your no good at, I'm just not good at making the actual skin design.
