When I was younger, I used to have a tantrum and then cry after, I was very sensitive and that was when there were not any anti-bullying organizations! Were there? hmm....
But year after year it was the same thing, and soon almost everybody was on it. Then it finally stopped at gr. 8 (the end of the year) Now all those who picked on me have made amends! What I do now? I viciously ignore them and dont talk to the person for an hour or so.
I did it once to some drunk person who decided they were going to have fun insulting people. She got the point after 10 minutes and left me alone, but she was pissed that I wouldn't argue back unlike all the other people who she did the same to. When someone is intentionally annoying you, they usually do it for a reaction and if you give them the reaction that they want, they'll continue bugging them. If you ignore a bugger, than the bugger will stop eventually out of boredom because you're basically just entertaining them when you react.
If it's unintentional annoyance, than you'd just have to comfort them as kindly as possible.
