Just about an hour ago, an official announcement informing the public of the official main cast of the new Star Wars movie being released in 2015. Good news is that the three main original actors are back: Ford, Hamil, and Fisher! Also back are other actors like Chewee's, and C3PO's actors.

The new actors are looking cool too. Daisy Ridley is a nobody, but looks a little like Natalie Portman, could she be Princess Amidala's grand-daughter, Luke or Leia's daughter?

Andi Serkis will likely play an awesome motion caption role, and and Max Von Sydow is a pretty cool guy.

I must say, I am pleased.

Don't know what to feel about that they use those old man's as a Han Solo and Luke Skywalker again, but if it takes a place so far away where the VI ended then it does not bother me. Great news that Andy Serkis is taking a part on this, he's such a great actor.

Cactuar : Yeah, I'm sure it will focus more on their children then on the old actors themselves. They will probable take on "old" versions of themselves, Mark Hamil actually said his character was going to be less about the physical and more about the mind tricks because of his age.

Well I guess even if they didn't bring back the old actors and brought in someone new they too would have to be old seeing as quite some time has passed. So I guess we won't be seeing so much action from them. I checked out some of the actors and they look quite decent but then again I'm not really sure how good their acting is. I hope they're doing this film about Lukes Jedi Academy seeing as how it's the only thing left to do. Although I'm not really sure which plot they would go with seeing as how there are so many. I'm really glad JJ Abrahms is directing this and not someone who has no idea what they're doing. Either way I'm optimistic about this cast, all we can do is wait now. Thanks for letting me know would have never found out about it myself :p. I should get out more.

It also got announced that the Ly'onde girl (the girl from 20 years a slave) is also casted in the movie, along with that tall lady from Game of Thrones who wants to be a knight. Think her name is Brienne. Not sure if they were listed on that list of yours and it should be interesting to see who these people were play.
