I tend to do it naturally, despite having usually good spelling, and I really don't care about getting extra Viz or not for doing so (though there is a limit to how much you earn Viz with it). I just pretty much spell check because I feel like it, or in some cases, just want to make sure I spelled something right, though there are a very few times when I got too lazy to click on it.

Well I can't really do that now because every page on this Website I go there is this stupid AD thing that pops up and unfortunately it also pops up on the Spell Check and basically makes it impossible to do the Spell Check!!

I usually do it every time, except when it's a really short post and I use the red underline instead. I know 5 Viz isn't much but it's something, and it eventually adds up to a little bit. I use spell check every time I make a post, but I think its just because it helps with errors and it gives me 5 extra viz(but when I hit the limit I stop spell checking) For someone trying to unlock a specific item, it helps only a little but multiple times a day it can help a lot.
