I need help. I have a REALLY BIG PROBLEM! In Mega man X5, I cant beat Shadow Devil. He keeps kicking my Favorite Character, Zero (I love Zero.) I have beaten 7 mavericks (I cheater, nah I joking. I have beaten 0 mavericks when I used the Enigma then defeated 3 mavericks, launched the shuttle. Got the GOOD Ending defeated 4 mavericks and now I am going to kick shadow Devil's eye) I have the (Zero's moves) C-Sword, The E-Blade, the C-Flasher (I LOVE THAT MOVE), The F-Splashier, the W-Shredder, Twin Dream and Dark Hold. Do I need to Defeat Mattrex or do I have one of Shadow Devil's Weakness?
(if you can't tell, I LOVE the mega man X games except for X5. I love Mega man X Command mission)

The Dark or Shadow Devil in Mega Man X5 is very tough. If you are playing as Zero you want to hit him with the electric combo. But you run the risk of colliding with him so bring an e-tank fully filled for this battle. If you play as X you can use the electric weapon as well. 

If you put in the armor code of the game Zero will have black armor this enhances your saber and defense. If you put in X's code you can use the Giga attack that takes the devil out too but again you have to beware not to collide with him

His weakness is both weapons obtained from beating Volt Kraken. Use Zero's Denjin/Power Blade (The electric rising slash), or X's Tri-Thunder (Which in itself is a homage to the Yellow Devil being weak to Thunder Beam in the first Mega Man game.)

Also, just to point it out, I wouldn't recommend using Black Zero. Contrary to what tornado said, it may double Zero's attack, but it also halves his defense. Use it at your own risk.
