m0ssb3rg935 : You know you could have just edited in a new item too.

I can't stand ribbons, especially the tasks that you need to get them.

The next persons favorite item is the Quick Ball.

Nah I'm not a big fan of the Quick Ball. I rarely use it, and it's pretty hard to come by as it is. I much prefer the timer ball, as I can use that to my advantage way more than I can with the quick ball.

The next person's favorite item is the Full Restore.

Nope. Although, I suppose it would have to be a top 3 or 5 if I'm going through the Elite 4 or a gym. My favorite has always been and always will be the EXP share.

The next person's favorite item is the great ball.

Heck no. There are way better items out there than an item that makes your Pokemon like you more.

The next user's favorite item is the Focus Sash.

Nope, never use Beast Ball at all, i always tried to keep my pokes in a standard pokeball just so it looks good when it being healed by nurse joy in pokecenter (you know, that animation with the 'ting ting ting ting ting!' sounds)

It's an okay concept, but not really what I like. I don't want my Pokemon to switch out when they get hit, so it's far from my favorite.

It's a really good item, and I tend to use it when I can, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. Great guess though, I'd say it's in my top 5 items.

The next person's favorite item is Rare Candy.

Actually, yes it is. I love using Rare Candy during times when I'm working on making my team OP or when I'm in a little jam and need a boost to get past a certain area.

The next persons favorite item is Max Repel.

Nope, but a great guess. It's probably around 5th place or something. It's a great item to have when you have a Pokemon that only evolves with high friendship. Whenever I have a Pokemon with that method of evolution, I almost always have them hold a soothe bell.

Speaking of bells, the next user's favorite item is the shell bell.

Unfortunately, that's not the case. I rarely use the Shell Bell myself.

Although on the subject of held items, the next poster likes the Leftovers.

As far as "Held Items" go, Leftovers actually are my favorite, but it is not my favorite item in the game over all. So bonus points for getting that half-right lol.

Anyways, why would I want to hold an item that boosts those awful rock moves? The rock type's the worst.

Of course I like the Master Ball. I actually use it more on shiny Pokemon than I do on Legendaries. I do not want to lose the shiny, as I can reset for a legendary usually, unless it's roaming.

The next person's favorite item is the Dragon Gem, an item that boosts one Dragon-type move by 50%.

While it can be an incredibly useful item in certain situations, it isn't my favorite, that title goes to the Lucky Egg. It's even better to have more than one of them if possible.

The next person's favorite item is the Choice Specs.

Hell, no. It can work well if you know your opponent enough to know you can clear them off with a single attack, but I usually use dual-types for two choices of STAB in a single Pokemon, which always comes in handy when limited to a small team, like when doing E4s and such. Besides, if the opponent uses Disable or a move of similar characteristics when you're carrying this item, your strategy crumbles down.

The next person's favorite item is the Air Balloon.

In all the time that the air balloon has been an item (gen 5), I have never bought, seen, or used it once. I can see why it might be useful, but the fact that it is a one time use item makes it a massive waste of a hold item and  48 BP. I would much rather use a flying type or simply equip a more useful/permanent item instead of an air balloon.

The next person's favorite item is the Quick Claw.

While useful, the Quick Claw isn't my favorite. It can give you an edge, but like everything that has a chance of failing, you cannot fully rely on it. I'd rather use a fast Pokemon, even if it means over-levelling my team a bit, if I want to strike first, or else I'd make sure to use a Pokemon with good Defenses so it can resist a hit to counter with greater force.

The next person's favorite item is the Never-Melt Ice.

While the Never-Melt-Ice can be a useful item for ice types, I've rarely ever used it. This is largely because I rarely ever use pokemon with an ice typing due to the absurd amount of weaknesses they have. So while it does have its uses, I've only used it 1-2 times and it is far from my favorite item.

The next person's favorite item is the Expert Belt.

I enjoy the Expert Belt, but if I have access to better hold items like the Life Orb, Choice Band, or Choice Specs, I'm most likely gonna go after those instead of the Expert Belt.
The next person's favorite item is the Max Revive.

Max Revive is awesome, but no... my favorite item is probably the iteration of EXP share that gives all Pokemon in your party EXP.

Nope, I haven't even gotten to the point where I can use Beast Balls yet so I have literally no experience with them at all.

On the topic of balls, the next persons favorite item has to be the Master Ball

It's not. It's not even my favorite kind of Pokeball and I only ever use it for roaming legendaries (think Latias/Latios) or for certain shiny Pokemon I may find like Abra who can teleport away.

The next person's favorite item is the Scope Lens.

Nope. As far as held items go, I usually prefer items that restore HP, such as Leftovers or Shell Bell. I also like items that boost attack power for a certain type, like Miracle Seed, Mystic Water, Charcoal, and so on.

Nope. That thing is so cursed that it only goes off when there is no need. I've had a couple cool moments with it but overall it's a letdown. Quick claw Imposter Ditto can be pretty fun though as most people expect a Choice Scarf.

Speaking of, the next person's favorite item is the Choice Scarf!

Definitely not, the Deep Sea Tooth is a pretty useless item. All it does is evolve one obscure Pokemon as far as I know, and it's annoying to get in the Hoenn games.

The focus sash is a good item, but as I mentioned above, I usually prefer to use held items that restore HP or boost attack power of a certain type. However, the Focus Sash is a great held item if the Pokemon holding it knows a move like Reversal, Counter, or Mirror Coat.

The next person's favorite item is the Premier Ball.

Nope, that is not true. While I do like the Pokeball, it isn't even my favorite ball, much less my favorite item. My favorite Pokeball is actually the Premier Ball, because I caught my Groudon in one back in Pokemon Ruby. I was actually out of Ultra Balls and forgot to save beforehand, so it was an insanely clutch catch. It was always be my favorite Pokeball because of that moment.

I bet the next user's favorite item is Mystic Water.

No, it isn't my favorite item since it's really only useful for certain things like using trick or switcheroo to give the Ring Target to an opposing Pokémon and remove any immunities it has (I actually had to look it up to refresh my memory on what it does). Overall, Ring Target is a very situation item since many Pokémon don't have any immunities to begin with which makes it pointless in those instances.

I bet the next person's favorite item is Choice Specs.

I don’t really like rare candies primarily because You can’t pick up EV’s when using rare candies, and you also can’t get any additional stat boosts. It seems like just a waste of a level you could get from regular exp which would make your Pokémon stronger in the long run.

I bet the next user’s favorite item is the Amulet Coin.

I am a pretty big fan of the Shell Bell. I mentioned earlier that I like held items that restore HP, and Shell Bell falls into the category. The only down side to it is that it only restores HP if you use a damage-dealing attack. So if you use Protect or another strategic move that doesn't deal damage, you don't recover any HP. That being said, it recovers more HP for each hit if you use a move that hits multiple times. So if you give a Shell Bell to a Pokemon that knows a move like Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, or Pin Missile, you can restore a lot of HP per turn. So while it isn't my favorite item, it is definitely one that I like.

The next user's favorite item is X Attack.

I never used any of those X items, I simply found no reason to use them, despite the small advantages that they give. I normally just forget about them, and end up having a ton of them in my bag from picking up Pokéballs in the overworld.

The next person’s favorite item is leftovers.

Yes, I have mentioned previously that I am a big fan of Leftovers. I don't technically have one single favorite item, but if I did Leftovers would definitely be in consideration for it. Being able to recover some HP each turn is nice, and it works well if you are the type that likes to use Protect a lot and play defensive. (I'm not that type of person at all, but I still like recovering HP lol.)

The next person's favorite item is the Never Melt Ice.

No it's not. I like to use boosting items in game that boost one of my stab, and I usually don't have any Ice types on my team. It's easily the worst typing in the game defensively so it'd be very rare to use a Never Melt Ice.

The next person's favorite item is the Lava Cookie

The Lava Cookie is a pretty solid item. It's essentially a Full Heal, but cheaper and more pleasant for the Pokemon (I'd imagine). It may not be my favorite item, but I certainly like it.

The next person's favorite item is the Poke Flute.

The Poke flute is only in one game. It's not all that great to be honest, it's just a free awakening.

Oh damn, mixing it up a bit. I haven't even considered items from Pokemon Let's Go. Yeah, the lure is a pretty solid item. I like shiny hunting, and the lure helps with that, but increasing the rate of shiny Pokemon as well as increasing the number of Pokemon that appear. Maybe not my favorite item in Let's Go, but it's up there.

The next person's favorite item is the Sitrus Berry.

Not really. The sitrus berry is laughable outside of battle and inside of battle it's still a one time small HP boost. I can see the use when you have Belly Drum sitrus berry or maybe Harvest sitrus berry but I've never been a fan of the berry in general. Those 50% berries are much, much better.

The next person's favorite item is the Max Repel

Nah, I barely ever use repels to be honest. Most of the time I just take the few extra seconds to hit "run". Repels do come in handy at times, but I wouldn't call the my favorite items.

Not really. 99% of the time you're faster than the wild pokemon in front of you so I don't see the point.

Nah, not really. The Super Rod is cool for catching Dratini in Kanto, but that's really about it. Most of the Pokemon you get from fishing aren't that good. It is important for completing the Pokedex, though.

The next person's favorite item is the TM for Earthquake.

Oooh, you know I might say yes to that. Earthquake is without a doubt one of, if not the best move in the entire game. Almost everything gets it nowadays and it's a free 100 base power attack from one of the best offensive typings in the game, ground. With 100% accuracy! Too bad it's usually found very late in the game, like in the Victory Road for example.

The next person's favorite item is the Escape Rope

Definitely not. I'm usually pretty good at memorizing the layout of maps, so navigating caves isn't much of a problem for me. The only time I would ever really use an escape rope is if I'm too lazy to exit the cave normally.

The next person's favorite item is the Acro Bike.
