I actually do LOVE the Max Repel, and I use a TON of them in places such as Victory Road and other caves that I just hate to be inside and they get really annoying after being in for a while.

I do like a little bit of extra oomph on my electric attacks though so Magnet is a good one to have, to hold, to cherish.

The next person's favourite is Nugget. Who honestly would not like gold if given or picked up for free? People would do not like Nugget are wrong because selling one gives you access to a lot of purchasable items. If you did not love the Nugget, you would be showing dislike for any item that can be bought anywhere. I see a little King Midas in the next person to post. A little Goldmember too. Nope, the lucky egg does nothing for evs so it's a waste, and it does have uses in game, but I prefer using stuff like type boosters and berries for in game hold items

cnw64 :   The Oran Berry. A good item for sure. It can easily help you out of a pinch when you are running low in the early game. It can still have a bit of significance in the late game too. When I took on the Elite Four in Pokémon Silver for the first time, I healed between battles entirely with Berries. The Oran Berry is a remarkable item.

The person below me... their favourite item is Max Revive. It puts the full fight back into a fainted Pokémon. You can get full use of that Pokémon once again without charging to the Pokémon Center. Truly the best item you could use in mid-battle with a gruelingly tough trainer, right?

Do you still get double the money if you forget to give it to a Pokémon fresh out of the box? NO! Do you still get double the winnings if you forget until the battle is won to use the Pokémon that holds it? Definitely not. I could probably make good use it if it didn't always slip my mind. Grrrr. It seldom becomes useful to me and it should useful in 100% of trainer battles.

The next respondent... their favourite item is Moomoo Milk because as a naturally occurring item Pokémon that hold it will recover 100 Hit Points the moment they have lost more than that and over half their max points. The finest automatic recovery item in the game. Moomoo Milk. It would decide the outcome of many close battles because you don't have to use a turn to activate it when held.

Being completely honest, I didn't even know Moomoo Milk had an effect like that. I'm definitely going to try it out if I have the chance on the next Pokemon hack I try. I'm not a brightpowder fan. Sure it lowers the opponent's accuracy a little, but most of the time the opponent's move hits you anyway, so it really has no use to me.
