The Soul dew is pretty cool, but it can only have an effect on 2 pokemon out of over 600, Latios and Latias. It just doesn't seem that worth it to carry around the pokemon world. The next persons favourite item is the Ammulet Coin.

Now that's what I call an item, just let the pokemon hold it and win a battle from a trainer to receive double money. It's even better with Persian or Meowth as they can learn "Pay day" (although there are other pokemons who can learn this move), and spam it to increase the money you earn from a trainer (wait, does it stacks?).
