How long have you known Davideo7?
How long have you known Vizzed Board?

This will be interesting to see. Both numbers will probably be the same for most of you.

I've known Davideo7 for... 4 or 5 years I think.
I've known Vizzedboard about the same amount of time.

I knew David before Vizzedboard because we went to school together so I probably knew him a month before ever seeing Vizzedboard.

We met in college I think early 2006 so yeah it's been almost 4 years.

1698 days for both of them.

Which is the closest approximation I can give.

You were on the old Vizzed Board too, it's currently down so I can't check to see how long you were on there.

Same situation Geeogree, I'm pretty sure you were part of the old board so that might add some extra time.

Hm...i've only talked to him about 3 times. But the first time I have talked to him was about...7 months ago. March 1st, near my birthday.

at least I don't remember. I think Randy invited me over when the board was restarted.

Nah David, I can honestly say with a certainty of 100% that I wasn't on the old board.

I remember my first post quite well, and it is the first post if you look at the posts I made on this one.

Ok well both you and Geeogree signed up like right after this new board started so I couldn't remember. Sometimes I forget how old this new vizzed board already is, it'll be 5 years old in about 2 months.

Well, I knew David for about... 11 months, thanks to YouTube.
I've known Vizzed since 10 months ago, around Christmas of last year. I got on here about Dec. 23. It's really hard to believe that I've been on here for that long. It seems like a while, but not that long. Thanks to Vizzed, I have good friends that I know that will support me, and have come out of my noobishness(see early posts on Vizzed for proof of my former noobishness).

I've been hear since 6-6-09. Known David for about the same amount of time.

I've only know David for about a month, which when I started posting. I've known about Viz for over 1000 days, though. I became active not too long ago.

Cyro: I'm surprised because I'm well known in the Acmlm community, and most people on Xeogaming I think would know of me. Also the Vizzed Board banner when you signed up said 'Davideo7s Vizzed Board' so my name was really sticking out at the time lol.

Around the time you created your site I was with Anime-US. I saw Vizzed board sometime later and registered because during the age when item shops were growing in popularity I happened to check this place out. I like what I saw. Since then, I never made a post. I went from board to board, when A-US was dying and ended up at Xeogaming. I was there for a couple years, gone for almost one, and then came back when the place was pretty dead (I still think my absence from there may have played a little role in that). I did see you stop in at both A-US and Xeogaming from time to time. Over the years I stepped into Viz for the heck of it, to see if anything changed. At that time I didn't know it was a pretty popular site and thought it seemed like a place that was no more active than any other board and just doing its own thing.

I always saw that Viz did keep going strong through the years, but I never thought much about it until I got that email a month and a half ago announcing the game room. I thought I'd stop in just to see what it was. I never planned on becoming an active member, but after I looked at my profile and saw I had been a member here for over 1000 days I did a double take and was like "WTF?!" I'd forgotten that I actually registered. So I figured I'd make an intro post, and the rest is history.

So that newsletter really did pay off. I'll probably be sending another one out this November after we've added a few new systems to the Game Room including: SNES, Turbo Grafx, Neo Geo, MAME, MSX, etc. Having SNES will be a hit though, especially with all the SNES rom hacks out there, it'll be awesome having them all playable online on one site.

Very interesting story though.
