I just bought a sega master system with the fist Phantasy star on it. and I beat all the other Ps games. And i was just wondering if there were some non-trendy gamers here who have given PS a chance. I put alot of mmy life in to PS online for the dreamcast too. What that came out........ 4 years before ff 11. And was the only online console rpg. Phantasy Star came out in America before Final Fantasy did but in Japan it was reversed. One more question. Why does't anyone give probs to the FF on the original gameboy. FF Legend and FF adventure.

And how about a FF VS. Campcom VS. Marvel game

I like phantasy star for 2 reasons.... 1, I think they are more enjoyable games (at least the first 4 are) and 2, they aren't the hype...

I hate things that are the hype.... thus why I won't play most FF games anymore.... and yes, I have played some... and yes they are fun.... but I like PS more

The "gay character" I was talking about was Titus from Final Fantasy 10(everyone knows) of course he doesn't grab the other characters when the camera is looking but we all know. They just don't want to include it. I would have called him metro-sexual but I don't know what that word means.

I would pick PS hands down because on some versions you don't have to pay and on Ff its harder than hell to find a good party.

I don't personally though, and I will say Tidus really is probably the lamest FF character.

Even though I [maybe sadly] have well over 100 hours on PSO for the GC, with a level 90+ character [and I only played offline by myself all the time] I'll still go with FF, time wise with all the FF games they'd probably be like 300-400 hours of gameplay.

And they have a much more deeper storyline to them.

All in all, I liked PSO a lot too, it was something new and fresh, and sometimes I go back to it and play it for a couple of weeks / days or so, but I'd prefer Final Fantasy anyday.

My loyaltys lie with FF even though PSO is one of my favorite game series of all time. PSO is great to play with friends but FF beats it on overall quality.
