If magikarp was removed they should just move gyrados to legend tier or almost psuedo legend.
But I would miss it since the struggle is real with it on ingame campaign training. Why go instantly powerful without doing some training?

In some way I have always liked Magikarp, it looks nice even though it does not learn any good moves.

It would be unforgiven crime if they ever even consider removing it from the series.. Magikarp itself is a above legendary Pokémon and that makes it Mythical Pokémon.

What a beautiful piece of art it is.

It wouldn't really bother me at all. I never found Magikarp annoying to face, nor have I ever said he's the weakest Pokemon. I never really use him (or Gyarados for that matter) ever, so I would feel indifferent at the change
