Welcome to Monday Shorts In the first Monday Shorts I will be reviewing one of my most nostalgic game boy games! Yeah I said that. One of the most obscure game boy games! This game is a bit weird. See this is basically M.CKids. I have not played the game boy version of M.C kids so I can not say if they are exactly the same. Spot was the mascot of 7-Up back in the day. He got a bunch of games but this one is my favourite. The word that is used a lot is Uncola. Always liked that lol. Lets start the review shall we!? SUPER SHORTS LETS GO!


Graphics: GOOD

Ah the graphics. The graphics are actually pretty good. The sprite of spot is detailed and animation is good. The backgrounds however are bland and uninspired. They are green with a cloud really REALLY uninspired. I like the sunglasses spot wears. The enemies look pretty good. My favourite is Skipper. That's all for the graphics, There is not really a lot to talk about


Sound: AWFUL!!!
The music sucks REALLY BAD There is a weird buzzing noise. And the music itself hurts my ears. Its a scrambled mess of 8 bit poopyness. Its very high pitched and not pleasant. This is an obscure game so I could not find out who composed the music sorry. Don't listen to the music of this game with a Headphone. I learned that the hard way. The music is not pleasant and can hurt your ear. The buzzing sound is also very distracting from the game. I'm not a big fan of the game boy's sound but this is below average. I would never EVER Listen to the music again. I turn off the volume when I play the game because the music IS AWFUL!! Please don't listen to it.

Addictiveness: OK.
Is this game addictive? A bit yeah. I did beat the game in my first sitting. The game is not that hard (The last level is very hard tough) But I can see why people wont play this game a lot. The controls are floaty people looking for a quality game will be disappointed. The game can be cheap at times.The controls are again floaty and not 100 percent responsive. However this game is fun and it is a game I will play again.The game is not that big so you can easily beat it in one sitting. There are some challenging puzzles and I'm not gonna lie I got angry at times. I'm pretty good at platform games but this game was challenging. The puzzles were pretty hard. I had to thing about it pretty hard. The uncola mountain is my least favourite part of the game. The Fun club is my favourite. Overall this game is addicting for me and I like to play this game now and then.

Story: No story?now of any story.
You can argue that there is a story. But there is no story that i know of.

Depth: Not that good.
Like I said. This game is not that big. There are 3 areas carbenateo forest. The uncola mountain. And the cool funhouse. You can choose between easy or hard. There is not that big of a difference. Levels are pretty big. You cant explore but what do you expect its a game boy game. Overall the depth of this game is pretty lacking. But the game is still a lot of fun.

Difficulty: Challenging.
This game is challenging. Its just right. Well maybe not 100 percent right. The game can be very cheap. There is a level which is infamous under the players of this game. That is the level where there seems to be no way of going from the moving platform to the solid one above. But when you do found it out it is very satisfying . The puzzles were challenging and got me angry quite a few times. I do get angry pretty quick when something is cheap. The controls are not 100 percent fluent and can be frustrating overall the game is challenging and sometimes cheap.

Memories: Nostalgic!
Like I said this game is nostalgic for me why? Because it was a game I got for Christmas. I played it all the time and I loved it. See as a kid you would often not see if the game is bad or not (like I'm an adult lol) I always took it with me when I woul go on a long trip along with my Game boy Color! The memories.


OVERALL: Not good not bad.
Overall this game is not that good but also not that bad. Yes the game can be frustrating and yes can be cheap. The controls are not that good. But I still like this game. Because of memories and because its fun. If you're looking for a real quality game then you wont find it here. But if just want to have some fun play the game!

Nice work on the review, man. The only problem I could find is that the music section seemed to repeat itself a little, but not so much that it really hurt the review.

Eh, it's still good. And I can handle some flaws in a game, and this one actually sounds like a lot of fun for someone with my gaming tastes. Thanks for reviewing it, or I would have missed it.

imamonster : In a way, I like how you used words instead of numbers for your categories, it livens the review up a bit. This review has a ton of detail and it's also a really good length. I think you did a good job with this one and you should keep making reviews.

I can still say that this can be much longer. Still this is a decent review and good luck on "Short Mondays" Or whatever it is called.

Black Bot : My regular reviews are in the 1000 words. So I think it's not really fair judging it on it's lenght when it is much longer then most reviews on vizzed. Plus there is not a lot to talk about. You can't say if it can be much longer since you have not even played the game.
