Well, an eager Earthbound fan can hope, can he?
Anyway, the thing I want to discuss is: is it actually possible for Earthbound to become an anime? Maybe if there's a talented Mother fan out there that can make fine material..... and if so, would you watch it?

I don't know. first you'd need a person who's thoroughly played Mother, who can make anime, and has a lot of time on their hands. so, most likely not. And if there is, it either isn't very good or has already ended. :T

let's just get it out of the way real quick. I think earthbound is INCREDIBLY overrated.  It's  not that good really.

But to answer you're question: No. Real simple. The game was not that good so does not DESERVE a anime. But i also have the feeling it won't. I would be shocked.
