MCPIXEL!!!
Oh
god i don't even know where to start with this game.
I
don't even know if I love this game or hate it.
This
game is quite the ride.
From explosions everywhere all the way too
stupid humour.
From
just starting this game you are welcomed by them screaming Mcpixel
into your ears.Then
thrown into quite an odd menu.
You
will chose which world to go to by simply clicking on the version of
your self.
Be
it past, present or future. Then taking them to the hole in the
floor.
Now
this is where the fun begins!
~GRAPHICS~
6.5
They
chose 8-bit graphics for this game which i think fit this game quite
nicely.
Your
protagonist kinda looks like a pregnant red headed women though.
As
Mcpixel is a man I have no idea why he looks like that.
Cross
dresser maybe... used a couple of pillows to capture that pregnant
look. Grew his hair out a bit and went off on his adventure.
If
this game was in the 1980's it would look amazing. But the sprites of
some of the things look a little odd. Like when you beat a level.
What is that... a piece of toilet paper?
Anyways
enough rambling let's move on.
~SOUND~
3
I
think I am being fairly generous with this score right now because to
my knowledge there is only three tracks in this game. None of them
are very good.You
got your track for the main menu. Your track for the pause screen.
Then your track for the actual game. None of these tracks are
memorable to me as they just repeat over and over.
They
only have a very simple beat to each track.I
had to open the game up and listen to the music and 10 minutes later
I forgot what any of them even sounded like.
~ADDICTIVENESS~
4
This
game is very repetitive. Most point and click games require you to
think.Not
this one. This one requires you to click everything and hope you beat
the level.
Almost
all solutions don't even make any sense in the slightest.
The
game even says to 100%
it you have to just find every different scenario in the level.
This
games humour will keep you amused for about half an hour if you're
lucky.
Or
unlucky... depends on how you look at it.
I
played this game for 2 hours just to be able to say I 100%
the game and I won't have to play it again. Those were some pretty
weird 2 hours...
~DEPTH~
9
The
depth is the only thing this has going for it. But after playing this
game more depth might not be a good thing...
It
offers plenty of stuff after completing the game including an endless
mode, 10 level packs of free DLC and a create your own level mode!
So
if for some reason you aren't tired of Mcpixel there is tons more
game play waiting in store.
Maybe
this is the type of game you enjoy and have the high score on endless
mode.
Or
maybe you look back at all those countless hours you spent playing
this game then think of all the good games you could have been
playing instead of this one.
~STORY~
1
There
is a story in this game. I just have no idea what it's about.
You
really learn about it after you beat the game.
You
get a very odd cut scene about Mcpixel mailing someone a nuke then
them talking over the phone about the price of the bomb.
All
I know is that it was a really expensive bomb he got.
~DIFFICULTY~
1
Well
this is basically the easiest game ever.
Basically
you just click what ever over and over and over again until you beat
the level.
There's
4 worlds each with 3
levels in them, and in the levels are 6 mini game type things which
you need to beat to beat the level.
You
cannot die! You will just go on an endless cycle of mini games until
you beat all 6 of them.
Lets
hope you aren't stupid enough to get stuck on them...
Overall
by finding the average with my calculator math skillz This game is
rated an overall score of 4.7 out of 10.
Pros
Lots of depth, depth and more depth
Very
odd and weird game.
Old
school video game reference in a bonus level.
Cons
Barely any music
very
very Repetitive
jokes
get old
not
enough explosions
Welp
I hoped you all liked my review and hope you all think I’m
improving from the last one!
Good
night everyone it's 3:30
AM and i need some sleep right now
