An executive at Sony has spoken to the press and said that The Last of Us will be ported to the PS4 and be released this summer.

As somebody that got a copy of TLOU for 10 dollars but is yet to play it, I don't really have an opinion yet.

However, many people say the game is a masterpiece and its been given so many Game of the Year awards.

What are your thoughts?

I have to agree with Leggy as well, I won't be playing this game on the PS4 when I get a PS4 because I didn't like it on the PS3 to begin with, the Gameplay is horrible, the story is ok and the graphics will be a little better, but not by much.

I guess I differ greatly from the two previous posters. I absolutely love The Last of Us, thought the gameplay was great, and that the story was fantastic. It is right up there with my favorite games of all time. I would love to play it on the PS4, but I do not think I would actually buy it, as I already have a copy for my PS3. If the online for the PS3 version did shut down, I might buy it on PS4, assuming I can get a PS4 in that time, and assuming that the PS3's online for the original shuts down before the PS4 version.

I don't actually own the game, but I do plan on getting the PS4 version, and I have seen a lot of game play videos. I really like the game and I feel the story is good, but I also agree that the game play itself tends to be a bit lame. Though, I will be able to see for myself once I get it.
