I'm being considered as a prospective juror. This means that I might have to do Jury Duty, not sure when though. This would be my first time if I am selected.

He didn't say anything about it being online. I've heard bad stuff about it, some cases it takes all day. If you don't go they can stuff which you will not like. I've never been yet and never wanna go

I'm to young to have gone to jury duty, but from what I've heard about it, it is pretty boring and uneventful. Basically you just listen to the case, and make your decision on the facts. Most of the time you will be judging something pretty basic.

Yeah I'm afraid of it taking up a lot of time. I feel like it'll be a huge waste of time which I could be using to do something productive and I wont even get paid doing it. It wouldn't be so bad if they allowed you to bring a Nintendo DS or PSP. I really hope I don't get picked because it sounds really boring and me being very shy, that's not the sort of event I want to participate in.

Well, my old teacher in Germany did that when he was younger and said it wasn't so bad....xD

Maybe it isn't that uninteresting at all, but on the other hand you're right, you could do other stuff maybe more interesting in the meantime !

Never done it. Don't really feel like doing it, although it would be an experience to remember. I think it would be boring, and I've heard other people say the same thing. The only thing I could see myself enjoying it would be if either party on trial said something dumb enough to make me chuckle. I bet people do say some messed up things, too
