Very impressive! Are you a professional artist then? It sounds that way from your post, and it really looks like it. This is just awesome work.

Eirinn : I wouldn't say professional. I draw in my free time and don't make a living off of art at all. Most of my commissions are done for game sites where I am paid by using on site currency rather than real world currency, and the amount of times I get paid real world currency for my work is far too infrequent for me to consider myself professional.

Hawaiianbabidoll: I'll never understand why people like making neon coloured animals. Honestly, the only design I can genuinely say I like is the three headed dog with fruit for it's heads, it's not everyday one gets to see a three headed dog with fruit for heads. Every thing else is just kinda eh.

Anyhoo, your drawing skills are still as great as ever. Nothing much to say really...
... Oh, I got it! How about you show us some of your original sketches ( if you have any that is ). I'd really like to see what kind of characters your mind can create, hopefully if it's not too much trouble.

Lukap99 : I have a few, but most of my original characters end up on scrap paper so I don't really have many recent drawings of them on the computer. These are all fairly old.

I saw the last set of drawings you shared with us, and I have to say I'm just as impressed this time around.  Whenever I see artwork like this, it just seems so surreal to me.  The fact that anyone can draw stuff like that... much less on a computer.... absolutely confounds and boggles my mind.  It's a wonderful, wonderful talent to have, and I've always wished I could share in it.  XD

It makes me so curious though!  Since you're commissioned to draw these and people give you their designs.... how much of the creative process do you take ownership over?  I guess what I mean is.... how many details do these people give you?  Does someone say "Hey, can you draw me a yellow puppy dog like creature that's really fluffy, has wings, and wears goggles?"  Or do they give you a much more detailed account, down to the very tiniest thing?

Singelli : It depends on the person. I've had people give me detailed paragraphs of their character, including personality (personality helps me design the pose). I've also had people give me something as simple as 'I want a phoenix.' and no other details. Not even color. (here's that phoenix by the way. )


Usually a person will give me a reference piece, such as a picture they've drawn or a picture they had drawn for them by another person. I've had some people request specific poses too, along the lines of 'can you draw her standing on her hind feet' or 'I'd like him laying on his back' type of thing.

This really reminds me of one of my friend's drawing style. I like it, although I enjoy a more realistic look with animals myself, or at least not neon. I really liked your own pieces though.

My latest abomination is a new species I created called the vulisae.
They are a combination of a fox and a bird of paradise. There are 14 different possible tails, 3 different ears, 14 different fur additions.... 10,000+ combinations of parts. I've created little monsters.






This particular creature is based on the blue bird of paradise, with the tail being inspired by the bird's orange wing tips and wire like tail.

It's so colorful ohgodbirds.

Watch me make one with the colors of a scarlet macaw and it'll poop rainbows and sparkles and all things stereotypically sparkle dog.

Hawaiianbabidoll: Still better than 90% of all other sparkle animals. Hell, I'd even say that it looks cute.
8.6/10 I like it, but in my opinion sparkle dogs are silly. I'm still waiting for someone to draw a sparkle doge though.

Lukap99 : I don't particularly mind sparkle dogs, as long as they aren't so garish that they are painful to legitimately look at.
Sure, I poke fun at them, but let's face it. Some sparkle dogs are so tame they could pass for pokemon, and some pokemon are so silly they could pass for sparkle pets.

There might not be a point to them, but there's not really a point to most of the things in life we enjoy.

We set up pins to roll a ball into them, so that we can set up pins to roll a ball into them again. We hit balls with sticks to get them to go into tiny holes or across the field, just to run over to it to pick it back up. We run on tracks that lead to nowhere. We read stories that aren't real. We design silly creatures that occasionally make rainbows..

Also Sparkle Doge is apparently a thing.

That is all really good. I don't know how people do it, I can't draw a stick man and I stink worse than anyone at trying to draw on programs like paint. I really liked that thing with the berry heads, it don't know what it is from, is it original? If so what were you representing? Some kind of dark humor or a statement about society? I also like the cat thing from your other post, the one that is twitching around then licks its paw.

GenesisJunkie : The berry dog is not mine. I was paid to draw it, so I can't tell you anything about it. Everything in the first post were commissions.

The animated one is Kiryubei, who is my alternate universe version of the character Joshua Kiryu from the game Twewy. It's a 'what if he was in the show madoka magika intead' concept.
