About a week ago, a bit of real life gaming sort of thing happened. According to news reports and other sources, a woman lets her ex-husband into her house, with her new husband already inside with her. Her new husband gets upset and gets out a real life replica of the Master Sword. That's right, the Master Sword, from multiple Legend of Zelda games.

 

 In defense, the ex-husband grabs a random pot from a table, and slams it onto the other's head. So, think about this. This is kind of like a HUGE Zelda reference in real life situations. There exists a Master Sword, we know he had one. But, the other reference is the pot. We all know pots get smashed ALL the time in Zelda games. So, what would happen next? Would chickens start bursting into their house through the windows? After all of this happened, even though her new husband was supposedly "defending" her, she ended up divorcing him. So, right now, he has a gash on his head from the pot, he's single, and he's sitting in jail. How brutal is this? Police DID have a reason to arrest him. He stabbed the Ex-husband with the tip of the Master Sword before being hit with the pot. So, in a summary, it was a normal day at a house with wife and husband, then her ex-husband walks in, the other man takes out the Master Sword, stabs the ex-husband, gets hit in the head with a pot, and gets arrested. This is really funny (I know it is probably wrong for me to think so but oh well, I don't care). So the feller didn't die? He needs to train some more then, there is always next time. It will be his Link to the past.

The one bad thing that comes out of this is now all the republicans are going to go on a video games kill people campaign and we will have to hear their lies and non since.

GenesisJunkie : The funny thing about that is its not the typical GTA or Call of Duty type of violence. It's a retro game that they'd be referencing. I wonder how they'd argue that, considering most people don't play these games anymore.

megamanmaniac : There are still Zelda games being made so they will probably go after that. To those kind of people violence is violence, whether it's mindless real life style killing or a fantasy world with good an evil. People are so dang scared to take responsibility for them self or to come to the realization that humans are in control of their actions and tv and video games is not. Well, it is what it is.

weird.... All we need now is a security guard getting shot in the knee by an archer. But in all seriousness I would love to know where he bought a replica of the Master sword. That would look so cool hanging over the mantle piece of the fireplace.

Chindogu : Actually, on my trip to Gatlinburg, TN, I found a Master Sword replica being sold in a shop, as well as the Hylian Shield.

Wow, it is just so incredible on how childish people are, I mean sure he's was upset that her ex-husband  walked in but he didn't have to be so violent about it!!

Wow, this story is crazy, though it's hard to tell exactly how the conflict escalated.

To be honest, if someone started waving a master sword at me, I'd probably burst out laughing at the absurdity of it. Though maybe that's why the ex got stabbed, he didn't get banished to the sacred realm after getting stabbed with the master sword, so that's good

Police report: suspect was clearly hit over the head with a ceramic pot, no rupees found...

It's like they were both Zelda fans at some point, heh.

 

That second husband though. Was he drunk or something? Or was he just a very jealous guy...?

Probably mean of me, but the coincidence is too great! At least no one was seriously hurt, because I'm pretty sure most people don't have 3 hearts.
That new husband seem incredibly short tempered to freak out that badly about seeing your wife's ex, especially since he should've known about him.
