They're both great games in their own genre, especially since Megaman 9 (not X9), Pokemon Platnum, and the soon to be realeased Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. One of my friends at my school has the Japan version of Heart Gold and gave me a preview of it a month or two ago.

My vote's gotta be for Pokemon.

While I never was a huge Megaman fan, I appreciated the games themselves. Pokemon was more of a game for me: start with one weak creature, use it to progress and capture more creatures, then use those to progress further and become the best. I would probably be embarrassed if it was possible for me to go back and see how many total hours I've spent on Pokemon games through the years (including the Game Boy/Advance/DS games, and all the Nintendo 64 ones [Stadium 1/2, Snap, etc.]) Actually, who am I kidding, I'd be proud of all those hours I spent in those
