I did actually play Metroid and Castlevania a little bit.  I honestly can't remember if it was I who had Castlevania or if it was my brother  - but I do know he had Metroid, and I sometimes played it whenever he visited.  I don't remember too much about Castlevania...

The only Megaman game I ever played then was Megaman X4 (which I forgot to mention earlier.)  I don't recall ever being introduced to classic Megaman, though - nor any Zelda.  I first played both of them once I came here.  So yeah...I think I might've missed out on some of that...

Pokemon crystal is my most memorable part of my childhood. Being a free and no worries before. I like that game and it is my first pokemon game. At first I don't know what to do in pokemon but due to my curiosity I go anywhere and talk to other people such a newbie before. Pokemon games have a very important role in my life it brings back my childhood memories, my friends before that I don't see and talk anymore. I like the whole part of pokemon both anime and game that I still watching and playing it today.

The most memorable game from my childhood was probably the Super Mario World port on the GBA. It was the first platformer that I really had a chance to play to a greater extend than just one level. It was also the first game I beat, and it's also the one I would try to sneak playing past bedtime. Second would probably Pokémon Gold, because I grew more attached to the game and the Pokémon I caught or obtained. I sunk in over 100 hours to get my first Typhlosion to level 100.

Well I am 15, so technically I am still a child. But the games that are most memorable to me are Pokemon Ruby and Super Smash Bros. Melee. These are easily the games that I have played the most. I had like 300 or so hours put into Ruby before I restarted, and I unlocked every character in SSBM.

They are many games I remember like Crash Bandicoot,Crash Team Racing,Driven to Destruction,Burnout series, Mario Kart Double Dash, Sonic Mega Collection Plus, Gran Turismo, Mario Party, Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald,Dodgeball, Mafio Golf and Mario Tennis. My favorite game as a child was Mario Strikers for the Gamecube. Intense action packed and alright mental. Anything could happen in this game and especially Sudden Death. That is the most intense moment I have ever had to experience in a video game. One mistake and you have lost and back to the bigging again if it is a one off match. It was even more annoying in Striker charged with that music you get if you get knocked out of the cup. After hearing that once I promised never to hear that music again. I know that is sad but I am a soccer fan.

The one that stands out the most would probably be Mario Kart 64. I didn't care that I did EVRYTHING there was to do on it, I just loved playing Mario Kart as a kid.

Of course the most memorable one is The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

But the other ones are Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Star Fox 64, Resident Evil 1 and 0.

All of those games were family games, my dad forced the Resident Evil ones but it was still enjoyable to play. Even though I got scared at times.

I think just about any game from my childhood was memorable because my siblings and I weren't allowed to play games very often.  If I wanted to speak about my very youngest years, though..... I'd probably have to pick some Amiga games.  I don't know the names of most of them... but I will never forget Lemmings.

Then of course, on one of those Nintendo systems, there was Duck Hunter and all the Mario games.  We also played Paper Boy and and some Addam's family game (Uncle Foster's something or other).

After that, we had the N64 and enjoyed games like Bomberman 64, Mario Kart, Ocarina of Time, Banjo Kazooie, Beetle Bash Adventure, Diddy Kong Racing, Pokemon Snap, Super Smash Brothers.... I'm sure there were others, but those are the first that come to mind.

Finally, my little sister got the Gameboy and then Gameboy Advance.  I mainly remember her playing a Yu-Gi-Oh game, Pokemon games, and the game that drew me here: Dragon Warrior.... something?  Dragon Warrior Masters, maybe?  Something like that.
