Okay, as the thread title says, does the feeling of winter make you feel sluggish and tired every day? Coming home from school, its cold out and I am exhausted from a long day and the cold, chilly weather doesn't really help at all. I always feel like all of my energy is drained and I immediately just want to go home and take a nap after a long day.

Does anyone else feel this way about winter? When it is nice or cool out  during any of the other seasons of the year, I enjoy being outside and being active and riding my bike and whatnot, but during winter I can't do any of that stuff and instead I always feel sluggish. What about you? What are your thoughts on winter and how does it make you feel?

Yeah, I feel this way most of the time. When I come home from school, sometimes it is just that I am tired from staying up. But Winter weather also makes me so sleepy that I sleep on the couch in the living room. o:

I wish Summer was here already! o:

To be honest, i never get that feeling. Even when i'm walking home in the worst of blizzards, through think slush, i still feel just fine. I even go for walks in those conditions. Winter days up here in Canada can plunge as low as -40 (C), and they rarely get warmer than -10 during those months, so adapting to it is pretty much a necessity.

Boxia :

I didn't really mean it from a perspective where you have to be walking home from school, but I meant in general and I was just using that as an example. And of course it probably isn't going to bother you because you live in Canada and you are use to this weather XD but it is always good to get some input. I have never been a fan of cold or hot weather, but I like it when it is mild, like in the 60s and 70s is right about where I like the weather to be. I also like rainy days as well.

Yes. When it's cold I just want to curl up in a ball and lay there all day. The cold sucks the life out of me. I hate it.

I am sooo...tired of winter. All I want to do is sleep all day...and do nothing for the rest of the day because its cold. Winter is torturing us.

Winter is an odd month for me. I have more energy in the winter time. Mainly because I can breathe better. My favorite seasons's are Spring and Autumn though.  But to answer the question Winter does not make me tired.

No. I have a harder time getting up in the summer. The heat makes me want to do nothing all day. During the summer, I can't get anything done after 4 PM; I'm just so tired.

During the Winter, I'm more alert and awake during the day. Cold weather increases my concentration and enhances my senses when I'm outside. The effect doesn't last long inside, though.

Regardless, Summer remains my favorite season.

I only feel like this when there is a lot of snow. If its just cold, or there is a little amount of snow, I feel great and full of energy. Its because I generally can't stand the heat.

Nope. Cold weather never really affects my energy. If anything, it wakes me up a bit. Now hot weather, THAT brings out the worst in me. It gets to the point that I don't want to leave my bed.
