As I walk around looking for survivors, I see a sword, food, an axe and a pickaxe in the distance. I walk towards it.

*Carlos (maguc) sees Tatsuo Kaori (mariowin13) and Bad Santa (awesomeguy279) in the distance and walks toward them. They agree to meet up on the hill with the rest of the survivors.

*Gabriel (starwars293) thinks he sees all the materials he needs in the distance. Walking closer, however, it turns out to be a desert mirage. He decides to go back and meet with the survivors.

Says out loud: The desert doesn't have many resources we could use, if we find a way out of the desert, than maybe we can find some trees or some sort in order to make a base.

First, i talk to infilm. He seems to be in general agreement with my plan, so i decide to pitch it to the group with a passionate speech.
I say out loud: Life is too short for us to rot in the sun, hopeing for salvation in the form of non-exsistant supplies. We must seek salvation, beyond the sand dunes.

"I vote to move out of the desert.

The reason we need to move is that we may have food for now we only have a VERY small amount of water. Seeing as we cant drink from the sea we need to find a source of fresh water. We also need to find a good place to set up camp, the dessert may be warm now but come night it reaches freezing temperatures. We also have no protection from the weather being stuck out in the open. Our best option is to find somewhere with trees, we can then climb them and scout out or best options. Whilst we move it would be best for us to try and collect some water from the cacti we come across.
 
I also feel that we should split up the equipment equally. When we move we should move in a group with the swords being used one in front and one in the back. There is currently 10 of us so that is 6 pieces of food each with 4 pieces left over. I think if we all take 4 and leave the rest as emergency back-up  it would be best. Once we have a clear base we can easily come back and collect the rest.

Does anyone have any objections to this?"

Spyshadow

Whilst letting everyone decide what action we are going to take spyshadow takes one of the swords from storage and patrols the nearby area.  He tells the others what he is doing before he goes as to not make them worry about him and to ask them to call to him once a decision has been made.

I find the group, and they allow me to join.
I vote to continue combing the desert, we were on a cruise for a vacation, and this is a beach, that, and treasure could be right under our feet.
