Ah yes,The cult classic hit known as Hellsing...Why do people like this? I mean i am a HUGE fan of the Hellsing manga,And the ova.But this...its just,I mean come on.Granted it has its good moments,And a few great moments,but in my opinion it ultimately fails,At least at what it is trying to be,And that is being a worthy adaptation of the Hellsing manga,But before you all go punching your monitors,Lets here the disclaimers from my oh so lovely assistant.

Seras Victoria: *Warning* The writer of this list is bad at grammar,If you happen to have a problem with this because well...Your Death the kid with letters or something,Please feel free to leave at your leisure,All comments regarding grammar with be swiftly ignored as they do not retain to the subject at hand,And are more or less irrelevant,Also please be aware that the writer IS A HUGE FAN OF HELLSING.He has every single Manga chapter on his shelf,And has 3 posters in his room,In fact the Hellsing manga is one of the reasons that the writer got into anime.However if you have a different opinion from the writer,Please feel free to leave a comment down below if you please.Also please be aware that this list may contain spoilers.Other than that please enjoy. *Waves*

5.Changes to Seras and her character: As some of you may have been able to piece together i am a HUGE fan of Seras.And its not just because she's hot...Well she is,But that's not the point,I am a fan of Seras because in a genre where strong female characters are dropping like fly's *Cough* Asuna from SAO *Cough* we can get a strong female character that the male audience cannot just stare at and tune out every time she is on screen,But in here...she just does not stay true to her character,And its not just her back story that's changed,Its her personality to.Now granted this is a problem the OVA suffers from as well.But at least in the ova She stills looks the same and her personality is more true to the manga than this version,Granted not completely.But..you know that term lesser of two evils? Apply it here,In here they just show her off as some cut fan service girl in a skin tight outfit,And once again this is a problem the ova and indeed the manga itself suffers from But in here she is "cute" Not hot " Cute" I mean cute as in  "OOOH I JUST WANT TO PINCH HER CHEEKS"
Not cute as in...well this is family site so i should probably stop.

4.Why is Anderson so insanse?: Now once again.This is something the ova suffers from as well,For those who don't know Alexander Anderson in the manga is a bit more relaxed and calm,At least when you compare it to the Tv series,And the ova,Granted in the Manga he does loose himself in battle and often at times seems completely intoxicated by the thrill of it all,Much like Alucard,But in here...He just seems crazy,Now i suppose i can try to defend both the Tv series and the Ova because he does not get...to much screen time,At least in the Tv series.And you don't really have that much time to establish his character,I mean 13 episodes all of them 30 minutes each..What are you going to do? But in my opinion they could have spent alot more time on it,And improve his character GREATLY.

3.This series focuses to much time on Seras: Once again just putting this out there,I am a huge fan of Seras,But even i am smart enough to know that she is not the big money maker here,Alucard is.And once again this is something the manga and the Tv series suffers from as well,But oddly...The Ova does not,Its actually balanced in the Ultimate series,Okay,In my time with the Hellsing Manga and both of its adaptations,Here is the balance with screen time between Alucard and Seras.

Manga: The manga focuses on Alucard about. 60-75% of the time.
Tv Series:The TV series focuses on Seras about. 60-78% Of the time.
OVA: i would say that the balance of Alucard and Seras screen time is...about 50 50.

Yeah its that close,I am not trying to kiss up here,It is really that close.And that is awesome,I would take this even further by saying that the Hellsing ova is possibly even better than the manga,If only because you can see all of these events and stuff play out in animation,Which is extremely awesome.

2.WHY ARE ALL OF THESE NEW CHARACTERS HERE!?: Peter Fargason.Enrico Stivaletti.Gareth Henderson.Kim Chapman.And the list goes ON AND.ON.AND ON.Okay.I get it.Your trying to be different from the Manga,Your trying to do this in your own unique way,But you don't need 10 NEW CHARACTERS,IN THE COURSE OF 13 EPISODES,This is most likely the biggest problem with the entire show,It may not be my personal problem,And that's why its not number one,But it is HUGE,Seriously this is terrible,Its like...Dragonball z,Or One piece,Except that instead of making in insane amount of episodes to finish the story,They add in INSANE amount of characters to help finish the story,And that nearly..no its ruins the show,It really really does.

1.It does not follow the Manga: Yes if you are smart and perceptive,You saw this one coming MILES away,This is most likely the biggest insult the Manga loyalist can make to any adaptation,And let me just say i like,And even love certain anime that do not follow the manga or at least stay completely true to it.Like. Death note,Fullmetal Alchemist.XXX Holic, Trigun.But in here...it just does not work here,I mean.In here we get Nosferatu Incognito,But what about the freaking MAJOR,You know that guy in the manga that has an army full of Nazi vampires,Vampires that siege London,Vampires that kill men woman and children,Rape woman and children,And eat there flesh like its a freaking snack,But in here...we get Nosferatu...yay...ugh.

And that is the top 5 reasons that in my opinion,The hellsing (Tv) adaption is a train wreck,If you happen to feel differently,Or agree with me post them in the comments,And leave nothing back.Don't try to sugar coat anything,tell me what i did right,Tell me what i did wrong,Tell me what the (Tv) Series did right,Tell me what the (Tv) Series did wrong.Just put them right under there...you now in the reply section.
