This is the March 2014 Vizzed Championship Series. A competition to see who can outpost who.

You get 10 points for posting on top, 9 for the second most, and so on.

And so on.

Those points accumulate over the month and determine who is the greatest poster of the month.

The month's winner, and the rest of the top 10, will recieve authority to say "Yes, I did indeed get in a top place." if they so please.

The top 3 also recieve Viz prizes.

1st - 50,000 Viz(Laptop or PSX)
2nd - 25,000 Viz(Netplay or V-Machine)
3rd - 10,000 Viz (assorted crumbs, a pink bra, cletes)

I'll update the thread the morning after every day to tell you what went down.

After winning the September 2013 VCS, I took a break for the December 2013 VCS. Well I'm back in action and ready to dominate. Posters beware, I am making it to the Hall of Fame once more! Game on!

I really need to compete in one of these again. I just don't have the time to do well on more than a couple days a month.

And this month will be no different. Unpacking is too much work to take time to post 30 times a day as well

Provided my connection remains stable, I'm going to actually try to compete this time.

I won once, and remembering how that was, I will never try that again. lol Still, I do want to land in the top ten.

Eirinn : yeah, the problem with people who actually aim to win and not just compete is that they go WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY overboard with the posting. I find a consistent 30-50 posts per day is a good way to do really well. You'll usually get points every day and not have much of a chance of getting a DQ

I might be the only person tired of constant competition.

Needless to say, to pre-empt the inevitable questions, no, I am not competing.

legacyme3 : I feel the same way actually. I quite enjoyed the 3-4 a year total rather than one absolutely every month.

After almost killing myself these last two months, I'm taking a break for this one.

I'll stay active without spending hours scouring the forums. lol

Yeah, it's just a drain. There's no point in competing in any of the competitions since there's never any break from them. It's the norm now, so it's just not fun.

legacyme3 : Oh I am tired of it. I just keep getting sucked back into the competitions. I am a very competitive person and I just cannot resist. I wasn't going to compete in the October TdV, but I ended up coming in 3rd and winning the blue jersey, as well as the Team TdV. Even if I say that I am not going to compete, I will in the end, so I might as well stop fighting the urge.

Oh. I didn't even know about this. I guess I could give it a shot, what's the worst that could happen? 

I personally don't mind constant competitions. I don't participate normally, but there's always the notion that I can for one of them, and not partake in the next.

The competitions are still quarterly as they've always been, just filled in with different ones, so there's a break between the one or two I wouldnt want to be in, and just be in the one I want.

tgags123 : I didn't even know it existed at all, even the past ones, not just this specific one. I'm completly new to this one.

geeogree : True. I only had to post like I did last time because I was a few days late into the competition, and it seemed like you needed sixty+ to get into the daily top three. Much like what I generally do during the TdV and CP VCS is wait until around halfway through the month when competition dies down.

legacyme3 : I feel the same. It seems like the forums are constantly filled with people frantically looking for something to post.

zanderlex : Really? Wow. You were here last December, right? How did you miss it? (And where did you think the VCS part of CP VCS came from? )

tgags123 : There was CP in the title? I really need to pay attention to these things more. I didn't see it last time. I was probably too busy with my Pokemon thread and the championship. I really should go and look somewhere to see if I got any points or something.

zanderlex : I'm not sure if you finished in the top 10. I know you didn't finish in the top 3, so you're not in the VCS Hall of Fame.

tgags123 : If you finish in the top 10 for a day, do you get summoned? Because if I did finish top 20 for a day, I would be shocked.
