If it would be any game I would have to go with...HALO 2. Halo 2 is on of the those games is when you meet the zombies it makes you want to pee your pants. When your at the menu the Oprah or whatever they are singing is pretty cool. Finally when your at the 2nd level where you meet the big guys the awesome dodo dodo dodo dodo.That is why halo 2 is my chose of a video game song.

MY favorite one would probably be Ridley's Hideout theme from super metroid.

That won't work for the contest since it's a part of a playthrough, man. If you want to take part to the contest, you MUST play through the game until you reach the place where the music you chose is played (unless there's a sound test feature in-game so you can record from it), record with Mednafen (or any external recording software if the emulator doesn't support Mednafen but you'll need to make a screenshot of the ending screen to prove that you made the video and play through the game) then upload the video on the Vizzed youtube channel since you'll be redirected to the Vizzed video uploader right after recording the video and add it to the game's page and this thread. It has to be your recording, not the one made by another person otherwise it won't work. I've been quite nice, I told you how to do that. Next time, I suggest you to read closely the rules before taking part to a contest

I still haven't solved my problem, David. I can't add my submissions to the game's page. It hasn't been automatically added to the page after the upload so I'm forced to do it manually I do believe. But everytime I try, it says "Video could not be added", even after many tries. It's been a few days. I wrote the links down on a notepad file and my videos are in ".avi". How I am supposed to do, please?

Here's my 5 submissions. I would have done Kraid's Lair (and instant win in this competition), but I didn't want to play the whole way through just to get that track. I was also going to do Eternal Wind from Final Fantasy III (another instant win), but I don't even know where that track shows up in the game... Same with a few FF6 songs.

Oh, and with the F-ZERO videos, it went all buggy on me so I had to upload them twice. The second ones went on the game page but they didn't load, and the first ones didn't go on the game page but they did load. So sorry about that. Maybe you can find some way to fix that?

There is no way I'm ever going to use Mednafen ever again. The game is extremely laggy while recording, and the videos Mednafen makes... I made a 3 minute video that's over a gigabyte.

mrhello : No, you must make your own videos. Don't worry about not having your own youtube account, since you're supposed to use the Vizzed one anyway. Right on the game's main page there should be an option that says 'Click to Upload your Video to Vizzed Youtube'. The page will tell you what to do from there.

We don't HAVE to complete the game in order to submit the video's, do we? Since a few of my submissions are from some seriously long games, and I'd still be here next March getting the recordings.

I'm asking because I've seen a few people mention that players need to take a screenshot of the ending screen, not sure if that's end of the game, or end of the video?

Well, I've been browsing this site for a while now, and this is the competition that made me sign up. I imagine almost all of my submissions will be from the same composer... though I'm not going to say who that is yet.

So I forgot that Power Quest was a Game Boy Color game... but it turns out it actually was on the original Game Boy in Japan. Well, I wasn't about to waste my Viz. Now I didn't pick my personal favorite song from this game (Drive Out), instead I did the one I thought most users would like.

My final submission; I had to make it count. And I did. Once again, as the last two, this wasn't done by Tim Follin, though unlike the last two I do know the name of the guy who wrote it: Jeroen Tel. I like the C64 version of the song better, but NES is still good.
