Here you can post the video games which you feel are underrated. I think that Total Miner Forge is underrated. It is basically an Indie game which is very similar to Minecraft. Some people may not consider this a game. Most critics say that this game is a minecraft clone-but it is unique in its own way.

Total Miner is way too easy. Just build a sword, a hole in the ground, and kill enemies. They drop all kinds of items, and you'll be rich in no time.

Anyways, the Medal of Honor series is kind of underrated. It's a lot harder than Battlefield, (runs on Frostbite, also btw.) and so it deserves way more credit than what it gets. It's an interesting series, and, unlike Battlefield, even the Campaign can keep me intrigued.

Underrated video game number 1? Luigi's Mansion. I feel like that game gets a LOT of hate for some reason, but the general premise, controls, and graphics of the game are great. Maybe I'm making this up, but I just feel like a lot of people don't appreciate the game because of how radically different it was a from a typical Mario game.

NVTaks : I don't know where you got that information from. Luigi's Mansion is highly honored among the world of Video Games.

Action 52 - Why do people hate this game so much? Yeah, it cost $200 (which is redonkulous), but we have it free. The games are a bit dumb, but there's still a few masterpieces hidden in there.

And now for a few games that no one has ever heard of (so they're not necessarily underrated) that are incredibly fun.

Buck Bumble - You're a bumblebee that works for a spy agency... Dude, it's a shooter based off of James Bond where you play as a bee and shoot other flying insects! What more could you ask for?! Also, DAT THEME SONG.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System - Hands down, this is my favorite Playstation game. Not just my favorite PS2 game, but my favorite game on all Sony game consoles (even though this is also on XBOX and Gamecube). It's a unique shooter that's really long, it's hilarious, and it's definitely the best shooter game I have ever played and ever will play. I definitely recommend it.

Underrated video game?  I'll have to go with one that I stumbled across somewhat recently.  Terminator Salvation for the xbox 360.  I thought that it was interesting and engaging while not being overly difficult.  A friend and myself have played through it start to finish twice now.  We both thought that is was an excellent co-op game, a little reminiscent of Gears of War, and the story was simple but enjoyable.  Well worth a weekend rental with a friend, and at its current price online, its probably worth adding to your collection as well.

Brigand : Fahrenheit for the Sega CD/32x CD? I have that game and am not a fan what so ever. It is not on the top of my fvm games list, or maybe you are talking about a different game.

Ok, my number one underrated/hated but really shouldn't be game is E.T. for the Atari 2600. It really isn't that bad, if there wasn't so much hate and popularity of it for being hated most people really wouldn't give it a second look but the people that do play it already think it stinks before they play it (for the most part). Yeah if you bought it new you might be pretty mad about it but there are alot of games that are much worse out there.

The World Ends With You. It's a Square Enix game, it's really great and probably one of my favorite video games but unfortunately it doesn't get attention like say Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts do, when it really does deserve attention. I mean yes FF and KH are great game series and they do deserve attention but they're not the only good Square Enix games. 

I'm gonna say ICO for the PlayStation 2. Fantastic game, but was overshadowed by the second game, Shadow of the Colossus and ended up forgotten about. It took a couple of years for anyone to pay any notice.

I have no idea why so many say that Mirror's Edge is so bad, but it just gets bad attention all the time. Happy that it's getting a sequel.

In my opinion Legend of Legaia and Grandia are very underrated games, I think the reason is that when they came to PlayStation One squaresoft had released final fantasy VII, VIII and IX so you know how large shadow those games cast and those two great games were in the shadows and did not get so much credit as they have should get.

Brigand : We've established we're of the same generation.  Grim Fandango was a doozy and a brilliant game.  It is truly underappreciated for what it delivers.

I want to throw Guerilla War for NES into the mix.  It's an excellent up-scroller with incredible combat, a great story line, various types of weapons, tanks, missiles, escaping nurses, exploding pigs, freed slaves, Central American warlords, attack helicopters, and a dictator who shoots missiles from his nose.

And possible one of the best music scores in NES history.

It was a lovely game. I have been playing it again lately but it has its flaws. The camera angle vs. the controls were annoying back then and they still are. But I love the story and it is really the pinnacle of point and click adventures both in the story and in the humour. But it did not sell enough copies at the time and that was the end of that. Sadly, sadly...

I'd have to say Metro: Last Light was kind of underrated. Possibly because there were other more anticipated titles coming out around the same time as it so nobody really paid much attention except fans. I didn't know much about it until recently when I downloaded it from PS Plus. It was definitely a diamond in the rough find and I was surprised it didn't get a whole lot more attention. If you like post-apocalyptic games that is definitely a fun game to try and worth at least one play through. I would probably play it again.

I think Doom 3 is underrated because people say its bad. Well its not that bad I mean they complain about being too dark and boring. I thought it was fun while others think it is boring. Well I respect their opinion but I think its fun. I think this game deserves a good rating.

The entire Yakuza series on the PlayStation 2 and 3 (all that has been released in the west). Sega probably will not even release the best in the series, Yakuza 5, due to underwhelming demand and sales, even. Kind of sad, I really wanted to continue the story left off in Yakuza 4. 

I feel that Brink was really underrated and passed on as a badly made FPS. I bought it new for $15 at Gamestop, thinking of it as a game I could rinse through for some achievements. But after playing it for maybe a week, I took a real liking to it and got into it quite a bit. The story missions are fun with the interesting use of playing on both sides of the conflict while sometimes on the same map (they were different missions, but all together, really exciting). I definitely got my money's worth, as it turned out to be a pretty good game.

I think that sports games in general are underrated (except Madden). I don't know any people that play MLB The Show or NHL, but they are great games.
