How many DragonBallZ fans do we have here? My personal opinion, I think it's the best anime to ever come out. I've been a fan of it ever since my cousin first showed it to me back in the 90's.

*Raise hand* I am one and boy is DBZ the coolest anime ever! I'm talking about, old school from the 90's. ^-^

No kidding!! That era was definitely the best. (: GT wasn't really all that bad either. I actually rather enjoyed it, to be honest. Not as good as the original, but it's still pretty awesome. They could have easily spanned that series over to at least 4 if not more than that.

Nice, looks like I am one as well. On Saturdays, I used to wait at night for that episode of Dragon Ball Z to come on on Toonami. Dragon Ball Z is truly my favourite anime. I may say that I like other anime, but this one really stands out as the best to me. It is a nice, and classical old school anime, and it is very action packed. Also you are right. GT wasn't too bad, but I think the original Dragon Ball Series were the best. Even the one where Goku, was a child, and he journeyed the world. Still, did you know that a different person made Dragon Ball GT, not Akira Toryoma.

Yes, I completely agree with you. It was the best, overall. I haven't really got to watch too much of Dragon Ball though. I never really had to time to watch it; but when I had the chance, I most definitely did. I own all 9 season of Dragon Ball Z, and both seasons of GT. Best 140 dollars I've ever spent. (: And I did not know that. Thanks for telling me.

Yes, Dragon Ball is one of the best anime to exist, even though I didn't watch it until I was near 10 years old. It does get repetitive, but entertaining to watch nonetheless.  Haha I spent a whole summer watching all the episodes.

Dragon ball Z is what got me into anime and at the time I had no idea what anime was like most people.

I am not really a big fan of it, but there were a few seasons of the show that I really liked. I really liked the Kai episodes.

I love Dragonball and DBZ. It's awesome. I grew up with it, and I still love it to this day.
A few weeks ago, I got the game DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 again after 3 or 4 years. That game is fantastic for a Dragonball fan with this monstrous number of characters to play.

GT was okay, but I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I didn't like the evolution of the series so much. And the exaggerated cutting that was done in the German version ruined it anyway. For example, the fight with Super 17 was completely cut...
But when I read that it wasn't even Toriyama's story in GT, I understood why it lost a bit of the Dragonball feeling for me.

I'm very excited for the new series that will most likely be produced in future. The recent movie, Dragonball Z - Battle of Gods, gave some hints that it will happen and Toriyama reportedly stated that he thinks about continuing Dragonball, if it's still successful - which I am almost sure of.
This series will probably start where DBZ (or DBZ - Battle of Gods) ended, considering that GT isn't Toriyama's story and the said movie's story took place between DBZ and DBGT.
That means, everything new in GT won't be there. Pan isn't born yet, the SSJ4 doesn't exist and so on.

And did you know, that Toriyama is finally revealing stuff about Goku's mother between some chapters of his new manga series Jaco the Galactic Patrolman? I read her name's Gine.

I'm really happy about Dragonball's comeback. Let's see how the story will continue.
