As the title of this thread implies, Little Mac from the NES series Punch-out!! has been confirmed for SSB4 in the latest Nintendo Direct. Here is the video (link). 

What do you think of him? How about his Final Smash (Giga Mac)? Was this a valuable character slot wasted, or is Little Mac going to be a good choice? Above all, what do you think about his Power/KO meter? When filled up, Little Mac can totally launch the enemy.

To me, he seems like a very powerful character, being very fast and very strong, but the catch is that his recovery move is pretty horrible. So he's obviously not good at surviving, but he still seems way powerful. Maybe he deals very small amounts of damage, but still launches pretty far?

TheJmsGamer : This thread is probably ignored because most of the people that post in the Dragon Ball Z and Super Smash Bros Forum go there for Dragon Ball Z (which is definitely inferior to Smash Bros). And apparently no one here is interested in newcomers to SSB4 anyways. Dude, practically half of the rented forums here are dead. And why would people even make multiple games for one forum? That mixes things up a little too much, in my opinion.

People think it charges by not getting hit and hitting people as it was in super punch out.

You should check out game xplain as they have videos about him and actually find some pretty interesting stuff in his trailer.

He sounds like an interesting character to play as. He looks pretty powerful, I mean, he one hit K.O's Bowser, among others. But his recovery move doesn't look that great. And judging by his size, he's most likely a light-weight character like Kirby, Pikachu, or The Ice Climbers. So I'm sure they'll balance him out nicely.

No, see, I am the biggest fan here, I bought two copies of Brawl because the first didn't work, then had to learn on sideways Wiimote when I was forced to play on my Wii U. AND I skipped school once just to be in a tourney.

I want to use Little Mac because of his star punch that is an instant knock out because it is not just his final smash, which will make him over powered in the Final Destination, which does not have any platforms to jump on.

TheFadedWarrior : I think he's a strong character. I thought he will come back as an assist trophy again oh well. I really liked his KO meter, when 100%..... BOOM! you launch the enemy. Giga Mac is pretty epic too. However his attacks in the air is really weak so I really have to be careful when i'm using him.

The problem with me and Little Mac: He definitely seems my type with his launch resistance, strong attacks, and great speed. On the other hand, I use aerial attacks a lot. I might just stick with Fox (like in every game so far...).
